I bought Alterna Cond. & bought Shampoo & cond. for my mother, but, it has been more like 60 days. Both of our hair is very fine & thin. I am 54 & my mother 74. I am discontinuing use, because I now have a bald spot on the left side of my head!!! Same thing for my mother.....we really wanted this to work?!! This is the only thing I tried new & I am totally freaked out about it!! I will be posting my experience on the web for other people to consider!!

I have used this product in conjunction with the Bamboo Volume Abundant Volume Conditioner. The combination of the two really made an improvement in my fine, slightly wavy, limp, almost 60 year old, color treated hair. It has been a long time since I found a shampoo / conditioner combination that was dramatically different what I was currently using and I am a salon product junkie. Whatever the chemistry is in this product line, I will be trying other Bamboo Volume line. My hair is my one vanity and this line is something special.

The combination of the shampoo and conditioner made my hair fuller, shinier, smoother, and style better.

I think I have tried a lot of shampoo/conditioner combos in my life until my stylist recommended Pureology. However, when a trusted friend mentioned Bamboo I thought I'd try it, so I bought a travel set of the abundant volume version. What an experience! With straight, fine (i.e., finicky) hair of mid length I never thought I'd find anything that would make it feel fluffier and richer. Well, I did. This conditioner along with the shampoo of the same name did just that. I am seriously debating whether I should be a Pureology holdover or switch.

This is expensive but you don't need to use a lot of product (and I have long, but fine hair). I was unable to use my discount coupons on this product as it falls within the "artistic" range as I was told. Howevr, I wanted this condition to go with the shampoo and thevolumizing spray which I had bought recently from another store (same prices).

I have very fine, thin, post-menopausal hair. I used this in combination with the Bamboo Volume Shampoo...just putting a dollop on the ends so as not to weigh my hair down. After drying and styling my hair (also using the Bamboo Volume Mousse), the frizzies on the ends of my hair were gone! And, my hair was not greasy, nor did it go flat. Styling was easy, and my hair held its style. My hair hasn't looked this good in months. Very pleased.

I wash my hair every day, and I have very straight thin hair. This product adds volume and it stays all day.

I used this conditioner with the coordinating shampoo (recommended by my hairstylist). I needed a ton of it to counteract how drying the shampoo was and this product is too expensive for me to use a lot each time. I love that it's paraben free, but the product itself just doesn't measure up to a good conditioner.
