Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Palette:

I recently just started to try different cosmetics so not sure if I am applying this right or not but it doesn't seem to stay fresh looking after about four hours. I am even using a primer but do have to say that I LOVE the colors.

    Great, but..

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Palette:

I love the colors and the pigmentation, but I don't love all the colors on my skin tone. Honestly, it's probably because I have the Naked 3 and I like all the colors on myself. I actually ended up bringing this back and getting the Tarte Amazonian Clay matte palette.

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Palette:

This was the first high end makeup item I bought and I still love it! I can create a variety of looks with this palette! The colors are beautiful and coordinate perfectly! I can get such beautiful looks with this palette! The brush it comes with is decent! Great pigmentation! The colors blend nicely! The shadows last a long time on my eye lids! I definitely recommend this palette!

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Palette:

There's not much to say about this palette that hasn't already been said - it's a cult favorite for a reason. I've tried a lot of shadows including LORAC, theBlam, Too Faced, Anastasia, and bareminerals, but this original Naked Palette just has my favorite formula and color selection (although I do still love the other brands I mentioned). The distribution of light, medium, and dark colors in this palette is great and you can go from very light barely there eye looks to dark and dramatic. Everyone says that the originial Naked is warm-toned and the Naked 2 is cool-toned, but with colors like virgin, sin, toasted, hustle, and gunmetal, the original Naked can go very cool as well. I would even call naked a cool tone. But the warm bronzes and golds in here are beautiful as well and look really nice on my green eyes. I don't know if I can call this my favorite of the Naked palettes (Naked 3 is my everything), but I think it is the most versatile and universally flattering/useful out of all of them. Maybe they could do without the semi-fuzzy packaging, but I really don't mind that. Overall if you're looking to buy yourself a nice eyeshadow palette that you will use all the time, this is a great way to go.

The Urban Decay NAKED Palettes are widely popular. We suggest visiting Urban Decay on Youtube, Pinterest, or Instagram for inspiration looks using this palette. For an easy daytime look, use shade Sin on the lid and under the brow with shade Buck in the crease. To amp it up for night, use shade Hustle in the outer corner. Creep is great when used along the lash line for a hint of a smoked-out effect.

The Naked Palette is a rich brown velvet component with gold embossing on the top with the word NAKED. The large mirror, shadows and brush are housed in a durable cardboard casing and the palette has a magnetic closure.

All three palettes are universally flattering and can be used across all complexions and hair and eye colors, so which to use is a matter of personal preference. The original Naked Palette features bronze-hued neutrals, Naked2 features taupe-hued neutrals, and Naked3 features rose-hued neutrals. The original Naked Palette comes in a brown box with NAKED embellished in gold text across the front. The packaging looks very similar to the palette itself. The first run of Naked Palettes came in a clear packaging with primer sample on the side and a cardboard insert on the backside.
