Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Palette:

I love this palette so much! I'm a huge neutrals fan so this is right up my alley. I love the colors and the pigmentation is wonderful. i think there are so many looks that can be done in this palette. I wouldn't recommend this for travel necessarily because the case has a magnetic closure which could cause it to open. But other than that, no complaints!

    LOVE

    By Meg

    from South-Eastern Pennsylvania

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Palette:

This is my most used palette that I own! I absolutely love it. I won't say it's my favorite palette of all time, because as someone that loves color, it is a little boring (but it is "naked" so it's not supposed to be super exciting, I get that). But I use it at least 3 days a week. It's perfect for a daytime look, and works with everything! I love that the shadows in this palette are mostly warm-toned (I have a warm complexion). My complaint would be that the super glittery shadows have a good amount of fall-out if you don't pack them on correctly, but my biggest complaint is that I would have liked more matte shades in this palette. And that's something that I feel all the naked palettes are lacking...nice matte shades, instead of almost all of them either being satin, or glitter.

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Palette:

I rarely use other eyeshadows. These shadows are so pigmented and blend so well; and are so creamy. I'm not one to spend $52 on eyeshadow, but this was worth every single penny. I also have the Naked 3 and it's great.

      Converted Naked addict

      By kmell

      from Minnesota

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Palette:

After hemming and hawing over whether to buy Naked or Naked 3, I was gifted the original pallet. As a fair skinned, blue eyed lady the bronzey colors make my eyes really stand out. I receive compliments every single time I wear it, and am convincing my sister to buy a pallet. The only negative is that there is a lot of fall down when applying, as I discovered my first application. A glitter explosion on my cheekbones. Since then, I just hold a piece of TP under my eye to catch it and have no problems since. I was concerned about the dark shades going on so dark, but they blend beautifully. As soon as I can rationalize spending a chunk on eyeshadow again, I'm going to buy Naked 3 as well.

      Worth every penny

      By smarie

      from Maryland

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Palette:

Love this palette! Colors blend so easily together. Love the shimmer in the colors. Anyone who has used this knows that since the product is so glittery that if your not careful or don't prep your skin correctly you will end up with glitter all over your face. That's really the only "down fall" of this product. All the colors are gorgeous and have a lot of pigment. Perfect for creating any look!

Urban Decay has the BEST colors and pigmentation around other make-up lines try to copy and imitate but are unsuccessful. I love their colors I would like to see some of the old retired colors come back in their line to create another Naked pallet 4!

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Palette:

I wasn't 100% sure about the Naked palette. For one, I've never spent that much on eyeshadow, and two, I was concerned with what I thought was a lack of variety in colors. However, as a waitress and bartender, I needed something that would stay put for 8+ hours under a bit of sweating. I paired this with the UD eyeshadow primer, and I have yet to have to reapply halfway through the day. Stays on for the entire day. The colors can be applied wet or dry, giving them different intensities. The pigmentation is great - I don't need four layers of each color. They blend very well, also. I will definitely be looking into further UD eyeshadow options! Highly recommended!

All three palettes are universally flattering and can be used across all complexions and hair and eye colors, so which to use is a matter of personal preference. The original Naked Palette features bronze-hued neutrals, Naked2 features taupe-hued neutrals, and Naked3 features rose-hued neutrals.

From Urban Decay's Product Development Team:

              Regarding developing new colors:
"Since the Naked palettes are one of the most knocked off products we make, we have to keep our shade development secrets under wraps. If we told you, we’d have to kill you." ;-)

              Regarding naming new colors:
"In general, we really don't shy away from much. We don't swear in our names, but we do use a lot of street names for all kinds of different things. We put it all on the table with a collection of names, and we edit from there. Sometimes the name is just there; other times, we refer to this list of names that we keep when we're stuck. Other times, nothing on the list works, so we get a whole group around the table to brainstorm. There are no rules in the room, and nothing is too awful!"
