i recently violated my personal rule (NEVER, EVER, attempt to bleach brunette hair at home.) and gave myself highlights. i went entirely too heavy and ended up with pretty much a full highlight of golden blonde. it looks good, but i am terrified this will turn brassy, since i live in the desert and get lots of sun exposure. i bought this shampoo as insurance lol. ive used it twice so far and the highlights still look great!!!!!!! we will see how they look as time goes on.

I dyed my hair red and it was horrible! I had highlights done and a toner shampoo was recommended to neutralize the brassy color tones. Worked great in the time it claims! Just in time for prom, I might add.

I just started using this for only a week. I have brown hair with blonde highlights. I am trying to keep the brassiness away but I haven't seen any change in a week of use. But I will keep trying!! It smells great and lathers very well! I've used Clairol Shimmer Lights shampoo before and I think I saw better results with that quicker when I used it 4 years ago..
