I use this mouse when I need volume in my medium thick hair. I put a golf ball size after I remove my towel turban :) and work into my damp hair. Quick comb through and blast away upside down for a few minutes. Style with a round brush. Throw some hot rollers or velco, depending on if we're going for sex kitten or hollywood starlet that day.

This mouse will do the job but if you do not use a lot then you will have some frizzness. It also tends to dry out my hair so I use it for a few days then try to use a levae in conditioner for a few days so my hair will not be so dry and brittle
