The extreme shampoo is very versatile. I have straight slightly oily hair that I heat style. It always leaves my hair soft, shiny and healthy but without oil problems. My daughter has wavy chlorine damaged hair and she uses this shampoo in rotation with a clarifying shampoo and it has done wonders in repairing her hair. The price usually runs 30.00 for the large bottle. When I find it on sale I stock up!

I have hair down to my waist so I am very picky about my hair care products. Many shampoos leave my hair dry and tangled even after using the conditioner. I am a new user to the Redken Extreme line and I have been very pleased so far. My hair is clean but not stripped. It feels soft and nourished. The only negative is the price. It has a substantial price tag.
My hair is dry and brittle from coloring it and this is the best product I've found that can bring it back to healthy. It's wonderful and worth the money.

Strengthens my hair and makes it super soft at the same time! It's a little pricey, but catch a sale and it is totally worth it. You only need a little bit too since it lathers well :)

I have thin b a bygone hair...which...now that I am 44 is also no longer greasy. This shampoo is perfect for my hair...does not weigh it down...is gentle so it doesn't strip the color, and rinsed clean. My only gripe is, on a busy weekend the store I got this in was having a liter sale....and the liters were going for the same price as the little bottles...but they made it very difficult to find these liters...So I, along with a lot of other freshly checked out customers were more than a bit miffed when we saw the liters by the exit door :( I wasn't' t about to stand in line for another 10 minutes in an extremely warm store
