I think I was a little worried that the smell would put me off so I was pleasantly surprised when I applied it. I have diabetes and so my skin gets very dry and dehydrated. I applied the lotion and really liked the smell and I felt that instead of just coating the surface that it really was absorbed down into the skin and softened it for quite a long time. My new nightly ritual.
