This shampoo works well on curly/wavy hair that is frizzy and dull. Hair is shiny and not frizzy which is always a plus and especially with summer here.

Having ultra sensitive skin I was told I should use sulfate and paraben free shampoo and conditioners. I read and researched, Alterna Bamboo had good reviews so I gave it a try. One week and I can't get a brush through my hair while it's wet, my ends are frizzing, and my hair feels nasty. I'm using the shampoo also and it feels like my hair is being coated and the conditioner can't penetrate the hair shaft. Reminded me of when I used Pantene. Yuck! Yes the smell is heavenly but that is the only good thing about it. Oh, my scalp doesn't itch either, that's a plus. Back to the drawing board for me.
