This is a great root lifter for fine, straight hair. I wish it would hold longer, but it doesn't feel stiff so I'll take what it gives.

Comments about John Frieda Full Repair Protecting Root Lift Foam:
My hair was strawlike from coloring and it's very long. I tried this product one time and I had a 180 degree change in my hair. Even my hairstylist said "What have you done to your hair?!! you should model for Pantene!"

Your hair ends up being sticky and oily. It leaves it flat instead of root lifter as it advertises

Comments about John Frieda Full Repair Protecting Root Lift Foam:
I have naturally wavy hair that I dry straight daily. I also have fine hair and I was looking for something that would give my roots some extra volume after I dried it. This did nothing but make my hair feel dirty, dry and gross. I followed the directions on the bottle and I didn't notice any extra root volume. This is AFTER I researched it both online and on John Frieda's web site to see what would be best for my hair. I will return it today, as I'm very unsatisfied with the results!

Comments about John Frieda Full Repair Protecting Root Lift Foam:
I used this product right out of the shower after a little towel drying. I sectioned my hair into 1-2 inch sections as directed on the bottle, and applied the product with my fingers into my scalp. When blow drying I noticed that product was becoming hard in my hair like hairspray ...before I could even get the round brush to it. After finishing drying my hair I noticed it was almost immediately greasy... and I have medium thick hair! I can usually go two days without washing, but with this product I was unable to do that. Overall i'm very disappointed that I spent [$] on a product that I only used twice.

The person who wrote the review below did not understand the purpose of this product. You rub a little bit into your roots while your hair is damp, and by the time it dries, you have BIG hair! Love this stuff!
