Comments about L'Oreal Colorist Secrets Haircolor Remover:
I dyed my hair using feria hi-lift browns and obtained an amazing color - to only my roots. So I decided to use color oops to reverse my old color on the lengths of my hair and try the hair dye again.
When I got to the store, surprise surprise, no color oops! I instead purchased loreal hair color remover without reading the box or any reviews on it. To my shock it was definitely a different product and I was nervous to put something "harsh" on my hair. I'll state that I have bleached my hair previously and it always took FOREVER to lighten, and was very patchy.. This product lightened the old color out of my hair with extreme ease. Of course my roots lightened more than the ends, but that was to be expected. My curly, coarse, dyed for years hair was lightened to an orangey red in 20 minutes and the roots were definitely more blonde.
overall I am pleased with this product, I would advise almost everyone to apply the remover to your length first, and roots at the VERY end if you are apply to the roots (which for an even end color probably should be done).
For the reviews stating that this turned their hair orange/yellow/red - it is supposed to do that, it says in the instructions that it will strip the color from your hair and leave you with that as a base.
ALSO this was way less harsh than I thought it would be. There is no comparison other "bleaching" or lightening that I have used in the past. This left my hair in great shape when regular dye can make it feel dry and split.

I have always used Oops before. It would only take out the added hair coloring. This product stripped all the color, even natural color, and left areas orange. It also left my hair very dry and damaged.

Comments about L'Oreal Colorist Secrets Haircolor Remover:
My daughter had pink hair. Super cute at first but faded out bad. Color remover only made it pinker and a weird brassy blonde color on top of her head.

Comments about L'Oreal Colorist Secrets Haircolor Remover:
I have very fine hair, and not a lot of it. I have used this product once before, so I knew a strand test was necessary. It only took 5 minutes to strip the medium to darkish brown color from my hair. I had bad color build up on the ends- dark ends, lighter roots-ugh! Know that your hair will look very scary when you rinse product. Mine was uneven blond and orange- it was terrifying. I immediately colored my hair back to it's original light brown color ( Feria #60) Very pleased w/ results!
Comments about L'Oreal Colorist Secrets Haircolor Remover:
I used this to strip my dark auburn hair down to redye it brown. It worked like the box said. It stripped to a blond and orange shade (as stated on box) and my hair did not feel too dry. I promptly redyed it brown. I want to get back to my natural light brown color but I figure the dark brown I redyed it will fade gracefully. It worked well when I brushed the stuff on my hair with a little brush.

Comments about L'Oreal Colorist Secrets Haircolor Remover:
I had my hair dyed a dark brown, but my skin is too pale for a color so dark. I'm naturally blonde and decided to go for a champagne blonde and needed this product to strip the color. My hair is barely past my shoulders and there wasn't even enough product to cover my entire head! It left spots of dark brown, and made it feel so damaged that it feels like it is going to fall out. I'm horribly disappointed in this product. Will not buy again.

Comments about L'Oreal Colorist Secrets Haircolor Remover:
I have had black hair for over a year and my roots had grown out over an inch and my natural color is medium brown. I applied how it said and waited an hour nothing happened except a few orange streaks and where it got on my roots in spots turned a horrific orange!! I would not recomend this product and should have read the reviews before purchasing!! Needless to say my hair is once again black...
