I originally had a honey blonde with some highlights. I dyed my roots and put some highlights in. I used this to take out any brass. I definitely recommend it. It didn't take out the orange per say, but it toned it down and took any actual yellow out to make it a nice blonde. It says to use on dry hair but I didn't want to dry it again so I put it in while it was damp and worked very well. I left it in for 10 minutes (that's the max). Love this and will buy it again to use it in the summer when hair turns yellow because of the sun.

Made hair darker and more red! left this on for 10 mins and my hair was darker and more red than before the complete opposite of what I expected... they should have a warning label BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying to save some money so decided to stop highlighting my hair and had a brown color put over all my hair to cover the old highlights. It had faded and taken on a gingery hue which doesn't flatter my fair skin.

I tried this product when I couldn't find the one I had researched and I was really unsure what to expect.

The product is colorless. It was easy to use and not at all messy. I left it on for about 10 minutes. The change is subtle. It did seem to remove the more orange and gold tones from my hair, but left some of the reddish hues. The color is a bit richer now as well. The change is not one I think others would notice, but I do think it looks better with my skin.

My hair feels soft and has a nice shine. I was hoping for a bit more gloss, this is subtle. Nice, though.

Overall, I'm pleased.

I am a first time user of this product, so I was a bit skeptical that it would do anything to my yellow hair. Wow was I surprised! It completely toned down the yellow tone and I now love my hair color and the best part is, I dont have to go to the salon and spend hundreds of dollars getting it fixed! Woohoo!

I tried to highlight my hair myself. It is naturally the color that picks up brassiness, yellowing, and orange tones easily. I had all three of those. Saw the product when i was in the store to pick up a highlighting kit. Had to go buy it after a couple of weeks going around with horrible highlighting job. It did the job. It toned it down and got rid of the brasiness, yellowish, orange tones! Lifesaver!

I am totally satisified with this product. It gets rid of the brassy look after I dye my hair and adds a beautiful shine. People noticed and I got a lot of compliments, although they were not sure what I had done they just thought my hair looked great!

i must admit i had higher expectations. it did get some of the brass color out of my hair. so i'm somewhat pleased. it is harsh and my hair felt a little rough so make sure you don't put it on longer then it says and use a deep conditioner. i would use it again though.

I have dark brown almost black hair and recently I did the ombre. the hairstylist used bleach and a toner on my hair. well after a couple of washes my hair was turning orange. I used this for 20 min not the time it says on the box and my hair looks like I just came home from the salon the perfect caramel color. This was a life savor and saved me mega$$ from going back to the salon.
