I have the kind of skin that looks awesome after I apply makeup. For maybe 5 minutes. Then I am so shiny, it's just distracting! I have used other primers trying to find something that tones down the shine and have had no luck until now. I bought the Ulta brand for $18 thinking even if it didn't work, it wasn't a huge loss plus it qualified me to get a nice give away they were offering. I'll just say this stuff blew me away. I literally use blotting paper at lunch just to freshen up and absorb any oil. Before, I would use about 6 sheets (gross). Now, one. ONE. I don't know what is in this primer, but it works and it works well. I will never buy anything else.

I have super oiley skin and see no difference when I use this product. I like the way it feels and it works fine as a primer it just doesn't keep me matte.

This primer goes on like butter! It gives you a silky soft base for your foundation and helps your make up stay on. I use a small pea size and smooth it over my face, then apply my base. It helps your make up go on smoother as well. You can even use it alone for a natural look. The salicylic acid keeps my skin clearer! By the way, I have combination skin and am a young 60!

First, it made me break out so I stopped using it. Besides that, it was okay. I still feel like my face got greasy during the day. I also was looking for it to cover up my redness as well but it did not do that.

I was happy to get this on sale and fortunately I did because I would have been more upset having paid full price for this. I have combination skin, so getting something with a matte finish is a huge part of my makeup shopping and this product just does not work. By 11am/noon, my face is oily. And I've been breaking out a lot more than usual and I've also noticed that it irritates the skin around my nose, it gets kind of itchy. I wouldn't consider my skin sensitive, but something in this primer just does me no good.
