I bought this product because most reviews were positive, it was a good price, and the wand I already owned was junk. I really liked it when I first got it, but I never had time to use it because it took so long to curl my hair. My hair is naturally a little thick, but this was ridiculous. I had to re-do almost every curl, and it they only held for a few seconds before they were frizzy and gross looking. It has damaged my hair beyond description, and very strongly smells like burnt hair. I'm not very happy with this product and wish I would have chose something different.

This makes a tight curl that lasts (unfortunately, in my case) several days. I ended up with a lot of fish tails and frizziness. The glove that protects your fingertips catches a lot of stray hairs as you wind the desired pieces, creating even more craziness. I plan to return this and stick to regular curling irons.

I have somewhat thick wavy hair so sometimes it can be a hassle bc I would have to first straighten my hair before I attempt to curl it, but I found that even without going through that whole process I can curl my hair and it still comes out look beautiful!
