I had a magnificent beard once. Not one of those philosopher, wise man, GANDALF THE GREY! ones. Just a nice smothering of absolute equal length hair trimmed to perfection on a face made for radio. Then one day I slept, for a bit, then a bit longer and then for a while. When I woke, I immediately went to refresh myself in the bathroom as I do after a nap. Low and Behold! My beard had vanished. Where once it stood proud, now there was this smooth, soft, pliable type material that was the same colour as the rest of my body! Later I realised it was my skin.

My friend (he was before this incident) claimed he had used an instrument that went by the name of 'Gilette Fusion'. I thought it must have been some advanced alien technology from the future, must have been! I never felt nothing, I was asleep for a bit, surely nothing could glide so effortlessly, cut so precise, leave such a smooth finish. BUT I was wrong. But it already dammit.
