I used to use a neutrogena gel moisturizer that was discontinued about 1-2 years ago. It was great & kept my skin moisturized in the summer. I was hoping this would give me the same effect. & I THOUGHT it did the first time I bought it. However, second time I purchased it was around summer. I realized my skin was getting so oily and my pores were growing. I always had soft poreless skin with occassional whiteheads on my nose but this moisturizer opened my pores on my cheeks and gave my blackheads. I had to keep powdering my face several times a day which I know is REALLY bad for my skin. The product feels really good and refreshing when applied which is why I kept using it. But it gave me oily skin. 2 hours after applying my makeup, my nose would be covered in grease and oil. Oil would be leaking out of pores on my nose too & just sit there. It was GROSS. When I removed my makeup at the end of the day, I'd always have little red marks on my cheeks. This is something I've never experienced. I switched back to a neutrogena oil free moisturizer recently which FEELS heavier but my skin is no longer oily. The Garnier gel moisturizer FEELS lighter than other moisturizers because of the gel form but BEWARE of long term effects on your skin! This product would probably fit people with EXTREME dry cracked skin.

I switched from Clinic's Moisturizer Gel to this product. It's almost a perfect match. Heavy, creamy or thick moisturizers break my skin out and I am in love with the gel formula most companies have out. I would really recommend this to anyone who suffers with oily skin or acne. The first use I noticed a really strong smell, but you will get used to it after multiple uses. I use mine in the morning and at night with no problems.

This product is EXCELLENT. It doesn't ball up or crumble on your face, it is cooling, adds moisture, and smells so clean. A little bit goes a long way and this jar probably will take a while to use - which is a good thing. Overall, the best moisturizer I've found. Works great alone or under makeup.

This product goes on great; dries fast. However it needs reapplication throughout the day. It is not an ALL day moisturizer as the jar suggests

Before finding this product, I would either get moisturizers that were too oily or didn't do anything at all. I have normal/combination skin, so sometimes its hard to find a product that will moisturize the dry sections, but not make the normal sections oily. I have acne-prone skin, and I can assure you that it has never caused any break-outs. My skin is pretty much clear, and I can use this moisturizer at any time of the day without feeling like my skin is going to get too oily. I don't know what I would do without this product, wouldn't change it for anything.

I use this product daily as a skin moisturizer. Its non greasy n gives cooling effect on the skin.

i love this gel moisturizer. my skin is normally oily, but after applying this moisturizer there is no more oil, it feels and smells great and is very refreshing.

This is the best product for someone who is looking to moisturize their face without leaving it feeling greasy. It had made my face feel smooth and refreshed. Better than Clinique and other brands I have tried.
