Doing a 360 on my previous review of this product.
I experimented a bit more and found that it's really wet so you can keep adding and lengthening every single lash but you must let it dry completely without batting a lash.
Once dry it stays put looking great, no smudges or smears, pretty amazing.

This mascara was fine. I was happy with how it looked on my lashes. However, at the end of the day, when I tried removing it, it wouldn't budge. It was like glue! I tried both water and eye-makeup remover. Both could not seem to completely remove this mascara from my lashes. I had to rub at my eyes dozens of times to get the mascara to budge. After a while, I figured I had gotten most of this mascara off. So, I stopped. I noticed that there was still mascara on my lashes. All in all, this mascara is horrible. It takes days until it finally wears off of your eyelashes. I definitely don't recommend this product.

I needed waterproof mascara for a funeral. Great color, price point was accurate and stayed on through many tear soaked kleenex attacks, it didn't run at all.
I did feel that the application took a bit more finese than my normal mascra, as it did have the tendency to clump and be sticky.

other than it being Tarte and coming in fancy packaging, i don't know why this mascara is so expensive.

I asked an ulta employee for hypoallergenic waterproof mascaras, and she said the drugstore brands (revlon, maybelline, etc) weren't good for sensitive eyes/skin. she recommended this tarte waterproof mascara. so far it's good, no irritation, but not worth the price as far as i can tell.

I needed a waterproof mascara that wouldn't make my eyes itch.
This may be both but not practical, It never dries so runs & smudges, at least with the other products I use. Will have to return it.

This is the ONLY mascara that I have bought that did not run under my eye. FYI, After you apply set the mascara on your lashes with your hair dryer for 30 seconds. You will be set for hours and it will increase the curl factor.

I found this product a year ago, its perfect especially when you have senative eyes. no odor, no clumps stays all day don't have reapply,

I use an eyelash curler. Usually, mascara + curler = nice lashes, and this STARTS that way-- but is "soft" and doesn't stay how you put it. in a couple hours, you look like you need to start over.
