Comments about Butter London Nail Lacquer:

Pros: Gorgeous color range and great pigmentation. The formula goes on easily and makes it easy to get a nice, even coat. Dries quickly. Three free (but could be five free, which I'd prefer).

Cons: Chips quickly. :( Dear (meaning pricey). The lid is really irritating. For the uninitiated, you have to pull off a square cap, which has nothing to do with anything except design. It's just there for that square look. Underneath it is a small, serrated, twist lid which holds the actual brush. You can't sit the brush down on the cap (upside down) like you might think you can, while you paint your nails.

Summary: I got a bunch of these on sale, but I wouldn't go back and pay full price. The colors themselves are beautiful for sure! In one coat, I nearly get the look in the bottle. Two definitely gets me there. Gorgeous, unusual jewel tones. Love that! The polish goes on neatly. My polish usually chips pretty quickly, but I've found that some brands hold better than others. I have an adorable Halloween mani that I created with the Union Jack Black (googly eyes). I did it Thursday. Today is Saturday, and it's pretty chipped up already. However, I did a mani a few weeks ago using the Toff and that one stayed quite awhile. I used the same base and top coats. Not sure what was the difference.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and I will enjoy these colors and this polish, but I wouldn't purchase it at full price.

Comments about Butter London Nail Lacquer:

I was disappointed with this line of lacquer. I really like the Hardware top coat from Butter of London but any of the colors I have tried don't last as long as Essie or Opi.

Comments about Butter London Nail Lacquer:

I love this for fall! It looks like the autumn leaves but it's not "orangy." There is a dark pinkish base but it doesn't scream pink or orange. It goes with almost anything from plums and purples to browns and gold. I think I might even be able to wear this in the spring and summer!
It sparkles with a pop of eye catching gold fleck here and there and yet still has a rich juicy, liquid shine.
