Depending on the style of my hair, natural wavy vs. straightened, the hair ties don't always give a tight hold in a pony. But the ties have fun prints that are different than the bland brown or black when on my wrist and not in my hair.

When you have to pull your hair back, like for the gym, this product does not come undone where it was seamed together. Easy to use and does not tug or pull at hair.

I first discovered Ulta, and Karina elastics in SC while visiting a friend. I absolutely love these elastics! The fact that they're flat means they don't slide out of my hair, they stay put. The fashion colors are really cute, although I am a black elastic kinda gal.
These guys work on my daughter's hair as well, no snagging or pulling-a plus for my 8YO..
The only con, if you could call it one, is that I end up popping them-because I like a really tight pony. If you're a normal pony-they last forever too =)
