This is my all time favorite daytime moisturizer. A bit too greasy for my t-zone in the summer but perfect for fall/spring/winter.

Life change has brought me to the sunny side of the country. After much experimentation with other sun protection products, I have finally found a product that meets my expectations. This is perfect for moisturizing my hands, neck and upper chest. As well as protecting them from the sun. I keep it in my purse to use after I wash my hands. It leaves no yellow stains, or oily marks on my clothing. Hope in a Jar SPF 25 has become a definite part of my skin care routine.

Good product if you have normal to dry skin - may be too heavy for some, especially if you are sweating out in the sun all day. I use Retin A on a daily basis, so perfect for me. It is also easy to re-apply as needed when by the pool/beach and easy to carry with you. I believe they make an oil-free version too.

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar SPF 25:

Apparently I am in the minority, but I do not like this product. I feel like it sits so heavy on my face and makes me feel greasy. I also had a major breakout about a week after using this daily. Maybe just a coincidence, but that combined with the greasy feeling has me convinced that this is not the product for me. I also hate the bottle itself. I would try to squeeze just a little out and a huge blob would come out. I feel like there is a lot of product that would get wasted if you use this regularly. I will be looking for something else to use.

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar SPF 25:

Hope in a Jar with SPF does not sting or leave those little white heads I have generally found to be the case with sunscreen. It also helps keep your face moist in a salt water environment. I live on the water and use it daily.

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar SPF 25:

I love Philosophy's Hope in a Jar at Night. My skin looks so great I decided I don't always want to wear make up, but I still needed an SPF. I thought this would be the perfect solution, but instead it make me break out within a day. I was so disappointed. Back to a two step Hope in a Jar at Night followed by sunscreen.

Let me first say that I have never had sensitive skin and I've used many different products in the past with favorable results. Hope In A Jar is supposedly for all skin types with spf25. This product totally burned my face after one application. It was painful and resulted in my face completely peeling. The only relief I had was after applying aloe to soothe the burn. A week later my forehead was still peeling. What a horrible experience! When I returned the product, the salesgirl said she had a similar experience. Unbelivable! Obviously I do not recommend this product. Beware!
