Whenever I texas-pouf my hair for fun. I need a sturdy comb since I don't plan on buy one million combs. This one does the job. I prefer quality things over cheap things that fall apart or bend and fall apart the next day. Gave the first to my sister since she is notorious for buying stuff that doesn't last. It's holding up and she styles her hair way more often and extremely than I do.

They don't have a 'Hair Type' option that is both straight and very curly. Which is what I have. I have board straight hair in front and tight curly hair in back, I facinate every new stylist I go to. Anyway, I need three different combs/brushes to manage my very long hair in preperation to straighten it or to style it. I like simple combs as I don't need to add volume to my hair as I have so much of it as it is. This comb works but I don't see it lasting very long as it is not that sturdy. But it's simple and great value.

I have thick straight hair and this comb is durable enough to push through without bending. The bristles do not hurt like the last comb I had. I would buy this comb again.

I wouldnt say its the best..but it does take away some frizz and adds some shine & body to hair. I love the ULTA detangling comb however..its a must have for ppl who have tangles!
