Comments about University Medical AcneFree Cleanser:

Cleared up my back breakouts and helps keep new breakouts at bay, but I wouldn't mind a bit of a larger concentration of benzoyl peroxide.

Comments about University Medical AcneFree Cleanser:

my son uses this product. It works well for his mild to moderate teen acne. I won't say it's a miracle product, but what is for acne? I don't like how it bleaches all my towels and pillowcases. He's careful, but hard to avoid. We continue to buy it, because it works for him, and he doesn't like change. For severe teen acne, as in my other son... didn't quite do the trick. But each person is very different.

Comments about University Medical AcneFree Cleanser:

I have had repeated inner upper thigh folliculitis, with a small abscess that had to be treated by a dermatologist. She recommended using AcneFree Oil Free Acne Cleanser daily with my shower. It works great. Even if an area gets a little irritated, it never goes on to full-blown folliculitis. I highly recommmend this product for this type of use, underarms, buttocks, wherever.

I've been using this face wash for a few years now. It controls my acne issues very well and I rarely have a major break out. It's also great if you're sensitive to strong smells because it's practically odorless. It's very affordable and gets the job done.

Comments about University Medical AcneFree Cleanser:

I, LIKE MANY OTHERS, SUFFER FROM ADULT ACNE THAT SEEMS TO GET WORSE THE OLDER i GET, ESPECIALLY AROUND THAT TIME OF THE MONTH. I STARTED USING THE PROACTIVE SYSTEM YEARS AGO AND IT WORKED OKAY UNTIL THE COSTS STARTED CATCHING UP WITH ME. I WAS DOWN TO BUYING THE CLEANSER ONLY AND LATELY IT HAS BEEN LESS AND LESS EFFECTIVE. I RESEARCHED THIS PRODUCT ONLINE AND DECIDED TO TRY IT AFTER SO MANY REVIEWS COMPARING IT TO PROACTIVE. THE BOTTLE IS HUGE! AND THE PRICE! AWESOME!I DON'T HAVE TO USE A LOT SINCE THE FORMULA HAS SUCH A GOOD CONSISTNECY.

I'VE ONLY BEEN USING IT A FEW DAYS, BUT I CAN TELL IT IS EFFECTIVE. IT'S VERY LIGHT, PROACTIVE WAS THICK AND GRAINY. THIS WAS SO LIGHT AND SMOOTH WHEN APPLYING AND RINSING, I THOUGHT IT WOULDN'T BE AS EFFECTVE, BUT IT IT ACTUALLY IS. MY SKIN IS SMOOTHER AND MY ACNEE IS DIMINISHING. AND THIS IS THE TIME OF THE MONTH WHEN MY ACNE FLARES UP. MY FACE IS ALSO LESS OILY THROUGHOUT THE DAY EVEN ON HOT DAYS WITH MAKEUP. I WOULD RECOMMEND ANOTHER METHOD TO EXFOILIATING WHICH THIS CLEANSER DOESN'T HELP WITH. I'M HOPING THIS WILL BE MY ALTERNATIVE, ALONG WITH THE SULFUR MASK SINCE PROACTIVE IS NO LONGER AN OPTION DUE TO MY BUDGET.

Comments about University Medical AcneFree Cleanser:

i bought this because i was looking for a replacement for panoxyl, an acne face wash with 10% benzoyl peroxide that has been discontinued. this only contains 2.5%, so it is a lot milder. it works well, but is not equal to panoxyl. i've always struggled with mild acne, and this keeps my acne at bay.
