Comments about L'Oréal Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation:

I had very dry skin and any foundation I used was settling into my dry patches and making my skin look even more dry. This foundation actually transformed my skin. After a couple weeks, I noticed my skin was even dewy (not greasy) throughout the day and after I took off the foundation, my skin still felt more hydrated than it was feeling before using this product. That said, I would definitely not recommend this to someone with oily skin. I have very fair skin and struggle finding foundation light enough for me, but the lightest shade of this (soft ivory) blends in very well and looks very natural on me.

One downside to this foundation is that it does not last as long as others I have tried. Even with a setting powder, it seems to wipe off easily and I can get about 6 hours of good wear out of it. So I recommend mixing about 2/3 of this foundation and 1/3 of a longer-lasting foundation (e.g. two pumps of this one and 1 pump of another one) to help it last longer but still get the hydration benefits. Another thing I wish was different about it is the packaging. I love the pump, but once I got down to about 1/4 of the bottle left, the pump stopped putting any product out and you can't take the lid off the bottle to get it out. So I had to buy another one and this is kind of a pricey foundation for the drugstore.

Comments about L'Oréal Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation:

For years I have jumped from one high end brand to the next. I've worn MAC, Makeup Forever, Urban Decay, Too Faced, Dior, Bare Minerals...the list goes on and on. I really love Lancome Tient Idole, but it's pricey, so I did some research and found that this foundation was supposed to be comparable. I actually love it even more than the Lancome! I will say, tools and application make all the difference. I apply my foundation with a beauty blender and apply NYX HD powder on top to set, also with a beauty blender. I'm left with flawless foundation that lasts all day. I'll be using this one as long as they keep making it!

This product is very dry and shows every imperfection on your face. If you have dry skin, do not get this. I have combination skin and on my dry spots it just makes them look horrible.

Comments about L'Oréal Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation:

This is the absolute best foundation ever! After many years of purchasing expensive department store cosmetics, I found this and I'm so pleased. The coverage is great, finish is natural, stays on all day. I've been using for over a year and have purchased 3 bottles. I've experienced some of the same problems with the nozzle but honestly, I love the foundation so much, I use a cotton swab to get every last drop.

            By badmamjam

            from Undisclosed

Comments about L'Oréal Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation:

PROS: Good in my big pores and wrinkles compared to other ones I've tried (35 in total). Inexpensive compared to high-end. Lasts very well on me. I would call it between a demi matte and satin finish, but it's not drying on my combo skin and it doesn't highlight dry flakes at all, like most mattes and even most satins do on me. It's just like my skin; that's what I would call the "finish." Comes in a pump so you won't contaminate it it with fingers. Doesn't get "dewy" later like even MAC Pro Longwear and MUFE HD will on me. Has pink and yellow and even some beige tones for neutrals like me. SPF17. Buildable. CONS: You can't take too long to apply it because it dries a little fast. Probably not for those who like a dewy or super-matte finish. I don't believe in any "lifting" claims, but that's not why I bought it, anyway. I just wish cosmetic companies would realize we can get our anti-aging products in our skin care choices. (I have to combine two colors to get my exact tone.) You may have to combine two colors to get your best match. The concealer version of this is also great for wrinkles.
