Make the colors Dark Red Brown 4BR & Vibrant Darkest Auburn 3RR easier to find. I mix the two together, but since my hair has grown I use 3 boxes. Every 4 weeks my gray peeks through and I mix typically 2 Dark Red Brown and 1 Vibrant Darkest Auburn. Lately I have had to get 2 Auburn and 1 brown, cause that's all that is available.

I haven't colored my hair in years and after a bad incident with a permanent hair color, I have always used semi/demi-permanent colors. Unfortunately those have become increasingly more difficult to find. While Healthy Look Creme Gloss Hair Color is just the kind of product I was looking for, I did not expect to have to wait 20 minutes for it to develop. Don't expect to do this in one 15 shower, unless you have an enormous hot water heater.

the only issue was getting the color in the wrong places - make sure your are wearing an OLD shirt you can throw out, put an old towel around your neck. The color got on my arm and a little near my ear - it does come off (I used a strong detergent). If it gets on something like a wood floor or tile, it will come off with a little Comet and water. The color was fantastic. time will tell how it lasts and fades, but remember to use a shampoo for color-treated hair.

I've used this product through all its "improvements" over the years. I have very fine hair and lots of top graying, along with thinning. This product is easy and gentle, covers beautifully (leave on longer for the gray)and leaves hair soft, very shiny, natural looking and without damage. The color begins to lose its vibrance after a couple of weeks, although the shine remains. Still, the very best I've found.
