Comments about Ardell DuraLash Starter Kit:

I've never used any form of false eyelash before, so I really liked this starter kit with individual lash clumps. It was super easy to apply with a pair of tweezers. The most difficult part was getting the lashes both eyes to stick out at similar angles. Once I got the hang of it, I really only needed 1 or two clusters of false lashes on each eye to make a really big difference. An you definitely couldn't tell I was wearing them!

Comments about Ardell DuraLash Starter Kit:

I was skeptical to try this because I've never done my lashes on my own. I originally purchased the starter kit. I will say that the glue is very difficult to pour out. If your tweezers get any glue on them whatsoever from dipping the lash in the glue it makes it extremely frustrating & difficult to get the lash to stay in place. I wasn't a fan of the long lashes & purchased the med & small length which is perfect. Make sure not to get glue on the lashes because when it dries it is visible.
I've had the lashes on for 2 weeks now & love them & will continue to use except I'll be trying out a different glue.

Comments about Ardell DuraLash Starter Kit:

I love to use this product because it makes your eyelashes look full, your eyes open and you don't have to wear mascara, your eyes will look as if it already has some. They are easy to apply, I put them on the root of my eyelash not on the skin, so they can look more natural. The only problem I have is removing them, they already have a bit of a sticky residue and so when you remove them, some tend to bend out of place or squeeze together and are difficult to put back in to place. I use them regularly and when you add mascara it gives it a better fuller, darker look.

Comments about Ardell DuraLash Starter Kit:

I wore the lashes for a day, just to try them out, and when I tried to remove them, I regretted ever trying them on. The remover that came with the product stings your eyes badly. I mean, really, really badly. But you have to grin and bear it because you need anything that will make the industrial strength glue soften. Maybe it was ignorance as to how strong individual lash glue is (this was my first and only set), but it is some serious stuff. I lost a good 10 to 15 lashes per eye removing the fake lashes. The glue does not adhere to your skin, but rather your existing lash and since the remover only works marginally (if at all), any real lashes that the fake lashes are glued to, well, bid them adieu because they're coming out, too. While the product looks wonderful, I wish they didn't include such a terrible application glue and remover (the tweezers work well for application, however). If you buy this product, ditch the glue and get another product that won't murder your existing lashes.

Comments about Ardell DuraLash Starter Kit:

These lashes did not work for me at all. I had a pro at my nearby Ulta store put them on with the included glue. She did everything correctly, but they started coming off on my car ride home. The most upsetting thing, though, is that the glue gets all over your lashes and doesn't come off, even with the included adhesive remover. I have been using it twice a day along with olive oil and my lashes are still clumped together in a really unattractive way. I will probably have to wait a month or so for my natural lashes to shed before they look normal again. Absolutely horrible product.

Comments about Ardell DuraLash Starter Kit:

Many things to say about these lashes.
                  1. THEY GLUE TO YOUR OWN EYELASHES!
                  2. Applied correctly, (first few took me a while to get used to) they look natural. I would recommend using a flat edged tweezers and grabbing them from the front and not by the knot like the directions say.
                  3. Flares are the clusters of lashes. knotted and naturals are the two different kinds of flares.
                  4. I chose to use the DUO individual lash glue because the glue that was included in this kit did not work for my lashes. I could not get it to stick. It does not come out of the bottle well, and I ended up wasting a lot of the glue.
                  5. I applied on a Wednesday. I did not wear eye make up except for eyeliner until Saturday when I applied a bit of OIL FREE mascara and eye shadow. I had to reattach a total of 3 flares in 3 days. I took the lashes off Sunday evening with the removing oil included. They came off with ease and I had no reactions to the glue, lashes, or remover.
All in all, I am giving a 4 because I love the lashes, (just bought the knot free flares to try) but the glue did not work for me. Some of the reviews say the glue works, some say they couldn't get them off, and others have said that they had a reaction and infections. I think it boils down to the individual user, and how their body reacts.
