Easy to use and no question as to what color you will get in the end. I've used this twice and had the exact same positive color results. I've used others and each time I never knew for sure what color I would end up with. It smells nice and is gentle on my hair.

I don't seem to find alot of variety of highlight kits out in the stores. mostly just overall hair color and frosting kits. this kit is nice and i get the results i like as i just use half of it for touch ups and save the other half for later.

I suggest taking very thin pieces of hair to get streaked effect. It does tend to blend with hair color if put on too thick.

I applied this to my bleached blonde hair and followed all of the directions. I could not even see the color at all. I used the caramel color. It would seem this is not made for blonde hair.

I was looking to add some highlights to my hair. I just recently changed colors from Medium Blonde to Light Golden Brown. Loved that it took so little time to processes!! Love the highlights! Did not like the fingertip brush application. Would use again with a different application. Some nice fitting disposable gloves or small application brush.

I think this is a great product, and easy to use once you get the idea that a tiny bit goes a long long way. You really need to take the tiniest of strands as it can bleed and give you a lot more streaks than you wanted. Color rinses make it less brass and it still shows through so don't be afraid to put color on top of it to make the streaks more subtle. If you are good with hair you will save a ton of money. This is only the streaks; there is another box that contains the color and streaks. I use my own color and then use this. In fact I just used Clairol Root touch up and then streaked my hair and it looks great.

You need four hands to do this !! Its starts to process sooo fast that by time you start the top of your head the lower layers are already processed.

This was my first time highlighting. Didn't go well. I am having to redye my hair back to an all over medium brown color, because my streaks are orange from the Toasted Almond.
1. I think it's because I have pourous hair and a warm Medium brown as my base color -probably too much red for the streaks to turn out almond.
2. I also found the color wasn't consistent down along the streak, so I must have clumped too much product and not enough in other areas.

Fix: L'oreal advised me to recolor with a medium Brown Preference or Excellence product and don't try highlights myself, go to a salon, so I don't get breakage. And they refunded me! Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

I did not like this color, my natural color is dark brown I did already have a red color on top of my natural and this made it look ugly orange, almost halloween bright orange. Did not like it, change it to another color really fast.

The product was easy to mix and apply. Using the finger applicator was more precise. It seems to be gentle on my hair.
