It took me a half hour to "straighten" a small portion of my hair. It did not heat up like it is supposed to. I ended up using the same old one I had before. Do not recommend it.

I have very thick wavy long hair and when i bought this product i thought "oh, the price sounds fair!" but not at all. For me it does not work. I have to re-straighten each strand of my hair at least 8 times before you can consider straight. Sometimes when i have it to full heat it doesn't even heat that well. Not good. HORRIBLE!!

I have thick wavy hair that gets frizzy in humid conditions and this flat iron did not work for me. It took some of the frizz out but still left my hair wavy and thick looking. I returned it and purchased a GVP flat iron and could not be happier, works like a chi!!

The secret to achieving silky straight hair is using the correct technique and products. This cheap flat iron worked as well on my daughter's transitioning hair as my Chi. The titanium plates heated up fast and hot. I used a good leave-in conditioner and flat iron spray and the results were silky straight locks!
