I wash my hair every other day at the most frequent and use this on days that I don't wash my hair. I just spray a little at the roots, let it set for 30-60 seconds, then brush it out. I have dark hair and it does leave a white film after it is sprayed on, but brushing gets rid of it. The spray is very strong so a little goes a long way. I'm not a huge fan of the smell of the one I bought (the leopard print can), but to each their own.

I can extend my shampoos to every 3 days with this product - before I was shampooing every day. Easy to use and good price....

The first time I used this product I followed the directions to the letter and felt it was just so-so. But the second time I sprayed it on, rubbed it in, bent over and, using the blow dryer, just went over the sprayed areas for about a minute. WOW! My hair looked like I had just washed it. What a great product!

I have very fine oily hair and I love dry shampoos. I tried the original Batiste and I wanted to love it. The price was right, it seemed to work pretty well at first, I didn't notice a white cast on my black hair, BUT omg my scalp started to itch badly!. I quickly washed it out with clarifying shampoo, twice! I noticed my lymph nodes behind my ears were swollen and I had to go on antihistamines and prednisone.
I'm not sure what caused the reaction, but I would suggest trying a little on your skin first and see if there's a reaction. I hope this helps someone.

This is the best dry shampoo I've tried! It really gets rid of all the extra oil and is extremely easy to use. It never leaves residue and has a nice light scent. Perfect for lazy mornings or when you don't have time to shower!

I use this product when I don't have time to shower or course up my silky hair for an up do. This product gives my hair some staying power. But if you use it too much then you get a build up.

i've tried a bunch of dry shampoos on the market. this is by far the best value. that oscar one works well but i couldn't fork over the $$$ everytime.
