Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder:

I often use a small brush and then select a certain shade to cover a certain area of my face ( green on redness, pink on whitish areas ).

      Needs a lot of improvement

      By Arie

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder:

I love the idea of this powder. However it's very messy for a pressed face powder. I absolutely cannot wear it on its own. Makes my face super white. And although I love looking light, this was unnatural. It corrected the redness around my nose and brightened up my eye area and even reduced the redness on my terrible recent breakouts. However, it didn't cover them like a dream. I use this as priming powder which means I moisturize then apply this powder as primer or use a regular face primer then apply this on top and then I apply my foundation/BB cream. I noticed that when I prime with powder, my foundation and BB creams stick much better. Just be careful with blending. Make sure you really buff it up. Overall, I really like this powder and it doesn't irritate my skin, but it needs to be improved.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder:

I used to use this under my powder foundation (I switched to liquid) If you have redness or uneven skin tone & use powder foundation. Then you should be using this under it, it helps make everything look even! I have a lot of redness and when you use it, it makes your skin kind of white, then when you put you powder on, it blends everything together.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder:

I have come to really like this product. I use it under my mineral makeup to cover redness, and I use it alone on those no makeup days at home. I do wish it had more of the green pigment in it, and I don't use it under the eye because it will settle in creases there. Overall, it works as well as any other color corrector, is talc-free, and a good value for the money. Oh, beware, the translucent is really white so only buy that shade if you're very fair.

I'm surprised the reviews are not higher. This is by far my favorite make-up item. I also have the Bronzer color corrector pallete which I end with. This product covers everything and gives an EVEN complexion. You can wear it without foundation, but I prefer to use it on top of light weight foundation.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder:

This powder is finely milled compared to other drug store powder I have played around in the past. I bought this powder to correct the redness around my nose and to set the under-eye concealer. Got both translucent and cream natural shades. The translucent turns out a bit lighter than my current summer skin tone, so can potentially be a subtle matte highlighter in the summer and would be the right shade for me in the winter. The cream nature matches my current skin tone just right. The powder goes on easily and doesn't look chalky or powdery on me. I really like the fact that it doesn't have any fragrance. The staying power, however, seems to be just so so. I see a bit oil shine around my nose after 5-6 hrs.
