I wanted a product for under eye dark circles and skin discolorations, but found these samples to not help at all.
I'm always on a quest for the perfect concealer and I loved being able to try so many for such a good price. I liked being able to mix the two shades for the perfect shade and love the the erase paste! Lemon aid was pretty good, however I wasn't much of a fan of the eye brightener.
I'm not a big expert on makeup and I'm never sure exactly what product I should buy when faced with so many online choices. So this sampler kit is a great way for me to try out different Benefit concealers before investing in a full size item.
WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT. That's the message I'd take from reading the other reviews and comparing them with my experience. A few people have written that they don't like Lemon Aid - it's flaky on them or it creases. It's great for me - I'm using it every day under my eyeshadow. I don't have zits at my age (mid-50s), but Boi-ing works great for covering up the random age spots. (There - I said it.) Having 2 shades to mix myself makes it easy to apply to spots on different areas of my face with slightly different coloring. Erase Paste is a good under-eye concealer, although I think that if I buy it again, I'll go for the light shade, given my coloring. I use Bare Minerals products and the Benefit concealers work fine with them. Nice little reference guide to decode what to do with the various products.
Negatives: The concealer brushes aren't so good - I just use my own brushes. I haven't figured out what "That Gal" is good for. It smells nice, but what does it do?
Overall, I'm glad I bought this set. It's very compact but a little goes a long way with these products. I suspect that people who have problems with creasing might be using overly generous helpings - or they just have totally different skin types than I do.
Love every item in this kit! Don't let the size of each product fool you...a little goes a long way with each item. If I had to pick my favorite it would be the Lemon aid and erase paste.
erase paste and that gal product in the kit is worth the purchase!!!
I use this kit everyday. My eyes are a bit of a trouble spot for me, I have pretty dark circles and shadows around my eyes. This little kit does a great job brightening the area around my eyes.
I really like the value kit, it made me safe a lot of money and although it's smaller than what it seems it's just enough. The lemonade is great alone or for eyeshadows, the erase paste is amazing! it does erase everything, boing comes in two different colors so the shade is just right, the brushes are good too, the eyebright thingy is good, but light eyeshadows do the same thing. The only think I think is just regular is That Gal, it does leave a glowing face when alone but not a great primer for foundation. Overall is all I could ask for.

The package is adorable, but smaller than what you would expect. The erase paste is decent, the Boing 1&2 are pretty good, the primer works well but I do NOT like the lemon aid-- it was kinda flaky and I don't like the way it looks on my lids. Overall It's a good way to try the Benefits concealers.

I was tired of trying full sized concealers one at a time only to find they caked or were not right in some other way. This "value pack" allowed me to try an assortment. I found the Lemon-Aid really helps on my allergy-red eyelids, the paste was way too much and the two tones of the other cream concealer can be used on tiny flaws on the face.
I am so satisfied with this. I know, there isn't a lot, but I've been working for 3 years to cover my dark circles and the erase paste got rid of them in 15 seconds. I could easily just wear the makeup in this kit and walk out the door looking gorgeous. Everyone notices how much I glow!
