Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

After reading reviews, i decided to give this a try. I expected a lot out of this foundation, and it fell short of all my expectations.
    Pros: stays matte all day
    Lots of shades
    Has a pump
Cons: Looks patchy after a few hours
    Creases around nose, eyes, forehead
Not even medium coverage, like it claims
    Oxidizes
Does not cover blemishes or scars
Transfers easily, even when set with powder
Looks cakey, even with just 1 layer (i tried every way to apply it, fingers, Dry sponge, damp sponge, kabuki brush, flat brush.)
    MOST importantly, causes breakouts!

I always want to try other foundations but keep coming back to this one. It's got a great finish and doesn't break me out. Use with a beauty blender for best results.

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

I discovered this over a year ago and have been in love since. I have EXTREMELY oily skin and have tried high end & drug store foundations for "oily skin" but this is the ONLY foundation I've ever found that lasts all day. Highly recommend if you have oily skin and your skin has trouble keeping on the product while staying matte.

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

I accidentally bought the combo/oily skin foundation since I'm more on the dry side and it works perfectly with my skin. I don't set it with powder unless I'm baking and I never wear foundation without lotion on my face so it all melts into my skin nicely. Honestly I'd compare this to Naked skin where the UD Naked Skin is so lightweight and build able coverage and I only ever need 1 pump for each foundation. I used the colorstay foundation for almost a year until I switched to Naked Skin and now back to Revlon and I'm saving so much money for practically, in my opinion the same thing. I personally think the UD foundation is the best on the high end market for the price and the only differences I find are the scent (Revlon is much better) and the consistency. Naked skin was very watery whereas the Colorstay foundation was more whipped. Anyways, I prefer the colorstay foundation now over anything and it's so affordable. Bless

        SPF??

        By Nicole

        from Austell Georgia

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

As a makeup artist this really upsets me that they changed the formula and added SPF.. This only means that I can't use this on my clients anymore. Which was a cheaper alternative for me. I personally have used this brand for years and by far was my favorite and I've been noticing with the new formula that it's just not as great anymore. They should have left the formula alone. If someone wanted SPF then they could wear that as a base layer. It can always be added in but it can't be taken out. Bad move Revlon.
