These were not cheap (set of 4), so I was disappointed when 1 out of 4 were defective (would hardly open). I took them back for exchange. I insisted on opening the package at check-out to examine them. (Prior Ulta reviews indicated problems too). Glad I did, 2 of 4 were defective in the new pkg. Clerk allowed me to swap 2 good ones from the first pack to complete 1 set. Not Ulta's fault, they were great. Worth the effort to check them at check-out counter.

I bought these to use when my hair is curly for that something extra. But they are cheaply made and didn't even stay in my hair. A couple of them broke right out of the package. They were expensive too, for what I got. I don't like them at all.

I searched all over for small metal hair clips that would allow me to pull my bangs back without having to clip large chunks of hair. These work great, are attractive and being metal; will not break easily like the plastic clips. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a 'good quality' hair clip.

I tried to pull a small amount of hair back off my face but when I opened up the clip it would hardly hold anything.
