I use this when cutting my husband's hair. I am not a professional, but we have used what his former stylist did on his hair and I am getting better all the time. The thinning shears really make the difference for his thick hair, allowing it to be more manageable without getting it too short.

I used this product along with regular hair scissors for my son's very thick hair. I first cut the hair to length, then went over some of the thicker areas with the thinners, not really "cutting" with the style, but just taking it to sections of hair. I noticed his hair was more controlled and lay better, without that thick "poof" he had on the top and sides.
