                      A:

Great question! To correct redness and uneven skin tone prior to foundation application, we suggest using the Prime Time Neutralizing Foundation Primer:
                      http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod5080093

This primer features a color-correcting yellow tint as well as light reflecting pigments to help neutralize and blur any discoloration.

                      A:

Both are oil-free and formulated for all skin types, so either would be suitable for you! bareMinerals Matte SPF 15 Foundation features a natural matte finish and is clinically proven to minimize the appearance of pores, while bareMinerals Original SPF 15 Foundation features a soft luminous finish. Because many with oily skin desire a shine-free finish, the most popular choice for those with oily skin is the Matte Foundation.

Hello I was curious in trying this product as it would be my first time and was wondering if I need to wear anything else with it? Is it basically a cream and powder in one? Normally I'll wear my BB cream then a little powder on top. So does this product act as the 2? Also should I use a primer and if so what kind do you recommend?

                      A:

MATTE Foundation is a loose mineral powder foundation. We recommend applying it to moisturized skin for best results; primer such as Prime Time is optional, since this foundation provides up to 8 hours of wear on its own! Setting powder such as Mineral Veil is also optional; if you have oily skin, you may prefer to use Mineral Veil over top and apply throughout the day as needed to absorb excess shine.

I have very fair skin with freckles and auburn hair. Which one would look more flattering for me, the fair or the fairly light? Also should I purchase the matte or the plain one?

Fair is ideal for porcelain-to-light skin tones with cool undertones. Fairly Light is ideal for porcelain-to-light skin tones with neutral undertones. We recommend testing both shades at your nearest ULTA store, where we offer complimentary shade matching services:

Both Matte and Original are formulated for all skin types; Original features a natural, luminous finish, while Matte features a matte finish. We suggest testing both to see which you prefer.

I am prone to acne and have really oily skin. I'm not really a make up person but some days I feel as if I need to cover up some spots on my face. So my question is will this cause me to break out even more cause I have really sensitive skin? And I'm not used to wearing foundation

All bareMinerals products are formulated to minimize skin irritation, allergy and discomfort. All bareMinerals foundations and facial moisturizers are tested to ensure that they have no potential for comedogenicity (won't clog pores). Because this foundation provides buildable coverage (sheer to full), it is ideal for those who are new to using foundation!

This product features a loose powder formula. You will find, however, upon application, that it has a blendable, almost creamy feel.

bareMinerals foundations are formulated to apply smoothly and evenly and will not settle into fine lines or wrinkles. To further minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, we recommend first applying a primer such as bareMinerals Prime Time Foundation Primer Original, which will help to create a smooth canvas for flawless foundation application:
