Comments about L'Oréal Hair Expertise EverPure Cleansing Balm:

First, my hair type is fine/thick/curly, and too much heat will fry it easily. I just cut off all of my hair to a nice summer bob, hoping to cut down on my flat-iron routine. I used to wash/condition/style every 4 days. I also just did an all-over semi-permanent color (darker) for the first time in ages. I paid a lot for my new style/color, and I want to make sure the color stays as long as possible. I also wanted to make sure I wasn't going to fry my ends - I never used to flat-iron at all. I figured ditching the shampoo and switching to a single-step cleansing conditioner would help achieve both goals. So far I love it. I use it twice a week, definitely more like 10-12 pumps because my hair is so thick. The extracts feel and smell so clean, so the actual process of washing my hair is enjoyable. I let my hair air-dry, and it takes MUCH longer to dry. I don't even style the same day. I don't find this to be a "con" - my hair used to dry out SO fast before, and that made it frizzy and dry. I like that there is so much moisture, I feel like it really is nourishing my hair. I can see some people thinking it feels greasy, if I didn't give it all the extra time to dry, I might find it over-moisturizing as well. Definitely my new summer go-to, I think switching to a cleansing conditioner does take an adjustment period. Our hair is used to having the oils stripped out when we wash it, in time oil production will balance out.

    Disappointed!

I can't get it out of my hair!! I am so disappointed, I was trying to simplify my routine. The first time I tried it, I felt like it was all rinsed out and began to dry my hair. It was still in my hair. I rinsed again and was sure I got it all out. Still there. Next time I washed my hair, I thought I'd give it a second chance and really rinse it this time. Needless to say, I can't get it out of my hair!

Comments about L'Oréal Hair Expertise EverPure Cleansing Balm:

I hated it then I learned how to use it and I love it. I tried this product because I normally use the Everpure shampoo and conditioner. I need extra conditioning and am very sensitive to smells. The rosemary mint is not irritating. I took a chance on the cleansing balm because the scent did not hurt me. The first time I used it was wonderful. Normally I have to put a curl activator and a spray leave in conditioner in my hair after washing and use the spray during the day or the day after shampooing. I needed to shampoo and condition every other day. I used the balm with nothing else and was very pleased with the results. I still needed curl activator but could use a lot less. This was going to save money, time and effort. But two days later my hair was a thick heavy mess. I used the balm and my hair was stringy and horrible. It was coated and my scalp itched and had a white film. I had to buy shampoo and conditioner which affected my budget negatively. I hated the balm but I tried it twice more following instructions. It was no better. Then I found these instructions in a review elsewhere: apply a lot! Apply to scalp concentrating on every part covering in zones like hairline and sides etc. After scalp is coated use a wide tooth detangling comb to spread it through your hair. Massage scalp until the product is a bit foamy. This should take up the minimum two minutes directed on the bottle. Rinse well until every but of your scalp feels clear. I still add curl activator after towel drying. Now my hair is so fluffy and my scalp stays clean for days! Even after a sweaty workout my scalp dries and smells like menthol and my hair fluffs up. I'm going three days between washes. I love this balm.

I love this 6-in-1 cleansing balm. As a full-time working momma, only having to use ONE product to cleanse, treat, soften, condition, detangle and shine my hair is like winning the lottery (did I mention DETANGLE)?! My hair is so unhealthy from lots of bleaching and this is definitely restoring it back to health. The smell is amazing and reminds me of the shampoo that we all used back in the day that smelled like mint!! It's 100% free of all the bad stuff and having a baby that battled cancer means this is extra important to me! Try it...you will love it, too!!!

Comments about L'Oréal Hair Expertise EverPure Cleansing Balm:

I really liked this product because it's nice that it has 6-in-1 benefits. I have color-treated hair that's thick and I have to use a lot of the cleansing balm to evenly distribute it throughout my hair, but my scalp wasn't itchy after using it (I have a very sensitive scalp) and my hair felt silky smooth. It took some getting used to for me not to have suds while I was washing my hair and while I still prefer suds, I felt like the balm did the trick. My hair generally gets pretty snarly after a shower and this eliminated a lot of brushing which was nice. It also has a nice scent and pretty bottle too! Full disclosure this product was sent to me for review from Influenster.

Comments about L'Oréal Hair Expertise EverPure Cleansing Balm:

This is the best multi-use product I have ever used on my hair. The formula smells amazing and a hint of mint makes my scalp feel super clean. There is no buildup and my hair is soft and shiny after it dries.

Comments about L'Oréal Hair Expertise EverPure Cleansing Balm:

This product was given to me for testing purposes. The first couple times I used this product, my hair felt fairly greasy afterwards. I started using less product and it seemed to keep the roots of my hair soft but my ends frizzy. I tried using it longer but unfortunately couldnt stand the frizziness. Plus I didnt like the menthol sensation.

I could not rinse enough of this out of my hair. It left a sticky residue that made my hair impossible to style or curl. I tried it a few times and found that the only way to get my hair to behave at all was to use dry shampoo to get some of the stickiness out and by then my hair just felt dirty. Glad it works for those of you with thicker hair but if your hair is fine then you probably won't like this.

I loved this product. I used it every other week so I could switch up my hair routines and it was amazing. It got the job done, made me feel refreshed, and my hair was noticeably softer. I will definitely continue to use this product. I received this product free for testing purposes.

Comments about L'Oréal Hair Expertise EverPure Cleansing Balm:

I'm sorry, I was so looking forward to using this product. Currently my hair is short, basically a bob to my chin, but I have a lot of hair, its thick. The first time I used it based on the directions 6-8 pumps, rinsed well and my roots were left very greasy looking, my ends very dry. The second time I used less product it seemed a little better. But today was the 3rd time, I used only 3-4 pumps of product. I rinsed it out for quite a long time. My hair does not feel clean, it feels like there is a sticky heavy build up on my hair. Its greasy at the roots, my ends are dry. I never ever have this problem or feeling with even the cheapest of products, my hair will look decent. My husband looked at me today after I washed my hair and said "why is your hair so frizzy?" If my husband noticed, its a problem. Very sad I need to return it unless someone can give me some tips. I'll try it. I want it work!
