I purchased prior to reading the reviews,boy was I worried. The many negative comments pertaining to the product, runny, the odor, dried out hair, made hair look greasy. I did some online research that squelched most of the negative comments. Hair glaze is just that, a glaze. I can't comment on the drying of hair, I'm not aware of the overall health of their hair. With regard to the application of the glaze, there were several suggestions, I just had to figure out which worked best. My first application verified what others said, runny, and not the best smelling (better than perms). I followed the directions as noted, rinsing thoroughly with cool not warm water. After drying, my hair had more shine,and boost in color. My second application I first washed my hair, then glaze, followed by conditioner. All I can say is WOW!!! My hair looked incredible, super shine,major boost in color. Highly suggest this product. With regard to the odor, it's not that bad.

I got this for free with my ulta rewards so I'll keep it, otherwise I would return it and get my money back. It just didn't do anything. It says to use right after shampooing instead of conditioner, but it is soooo drying. Afterwards, I didn't notice any more shine or anything special.

Left in for ten minutes after shampooing as directions stated, left hair feeling dried out and tangly. Did not add any shine.

I love Ulta products.....but not this one! I didnt really do anything. It came out in a strange consistancy so i had to shake mine. Also i have to use about 4 handfulls to cover all of my hair. After i rinsed it out i still needed to use conditioner. My hair feels tangely and its not any shinier. To the trash it goes!
