Comments about Phytodefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm for Frizzy Hair:
Overall, I did notice slight smoothing with this product but, I don't think it works well for heat protection when blowdrying and the smoothing benefits are minimal if your hair is already chemically straightened (as mine is). I didn't notice a big boost in shine or style memory. I have tried other products on my chemically straightened hair that have shown those results.

Comments about Phytodefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm for Frizzy Hair:
I was disappointed with how ineffective this product was for me, especially after reading all of the great reviews. I live in a very hot and humid climate, have fine textured wavy hair, and this product made absolutely no difference... my hair was exactly as frizzy and unruly as it is naturally. The directions state to use "a dab" of product, and I used about a nickel-sized amount. Within an hour my hair was big, unruly and frizzy. Not a product for me...

A friend swore by this product and gave me a sample tube as a gift. I used it (a very little dime size amount) I have long hair but it's not that thick. It makes my hair shiny for days, super smooth and it really does help with the frizz. I love it so much before the sample my friend gave me ran out I went to Ulta to purchase the full size! I'm thinking of trying the shampoo too! It's def. worth the money!

Comments about Phytodefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm for Frizzy Hair:
Unlike other Asian hair, mine is thicker and unruly when nothing is done to it. it curls, waves in all directions and is prone to frizz. I stopped flat ironing my hair because I'm trying to donate my hair to Pantene Lengths and started to blow out my hair gently so I can have some sort of control over this mess.
I typically use CHI Silk Infusion which I love!!! It is very very low in silicone and provide my hair with just the right amount of shine, softness and volume.
But as a product junkie, I'm always looking for other alternatives and came across the Phytodefrisant. I love that it has no silicone/dimethicone because any product with it makes my hair and scalp look oily and limp in hours even when applied only to the tips. Anyhow, after I applied it (it has very little smell) and blew out my hair, I can see the difference between the two products I use for blowing out my hair.
While CHI gives me a dramatic blow out with a round barrel brush with volume and slip that is very Miss Universe looking, the Phytodefrisant gives me a more understated blow out with a little bit less shine (more like a satin-finish). I also find that my hair tends to blow out a bit straighter at the bottom third to the tips rather than soft curls with the CHI. While I don't think the Phytodefrisant makes my hair as soft as the CHI Silk Infusion or as shiny, I am loving the alternative look it gives me...more natural, more girl-next-door than the former pageant blow out look.
After my blow out I walked outside to the store and it was raining--even with a little rain getting on my hair and humidity, I didn't see my hair behaving or looking different from before I walked outside. That is a huge + for me!

This is a great product to soften hair and defrizz after you shower. It doesn't act as styling gel but it does shine and soften hair noticably! I haven't tried it on humid weather but imagine it will work well.

Comments about Phytodefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm for Frizzy Hair:
I am really impressed by this product. I only needed a small amount. My hair is usually smooth with my ends drier and crunchy with other products. This made my curly hair smooth and shiny from root to end. It is a little pricey, but worth the result to me.
