too orange

By Jenny

from New Hampshire

Comments about Laura Geller Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation:

I was excited to try this foundation, but wasn't really impressed. Pros: it's a thick formula and covers well because of that. It has a natural, dewy finish. Cons: despite getting the fairest shade they offer, it was still too orange for my skin. I ended up having to mix it with other foundations I had to not look ridiculous. I used the foundation with the Laura Gellar Spackle Primer and the foundation didn't look good by the end of the day. I do not have oily skin, but some combination of their products made my T-zone slick and the foundation was separating and patchy all over my nose after a few hours.

Comments about Laura Geller Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation:

Its a bit dewy when it first goes on, but seems to balance out just fine. I wish it didn't transfer off quite as easily, it has a tendency to come off when touched, but not badly. After months of trying several other foundations, both higher end, and lower end, i am happy with this one.

First time trying the LG foundation. I've recently turned 30 and I was looking for a foundation that helped brighten me up and this is it. I love that the color pigments are baked in terra cotta tiles in Italy. Something about that makes it feel very luxe.

        LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

        By Vanessa

        from Iowa

Comments about Laura Geller Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation:

I have super oily skin with acne scars, and it's so hard to find a full coverage foundation to hide my imperfections. This foundation is awesome! It's not SUPER perfect, because it doesn't last the whole day for me, but no foundation really has. It does work as a full coverage if combined with Laura Geller's "The Real Deal" concealer. It gives you a beautiful dewy finish also. This is my everyday foundation, love it! :)

          Perfect for neutral undertones.

          By makeup wanderlust

          from sun valley

Comments about Laura Geller Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation:

I have medium tanned skin with very neutral undertones and this foundation is a near perfect match for me. I noticed a review stating it applied streaky, but an ULTA staff member informed me that this foundation needs to be shamed well before dispensing to apply. I am really pleased with the radiant natural finish, it is ideal for dry skin and I would not recommend it for combination to oily skin.

            Perfect for dry skin

            By Brooke L

            from Franklin, NC

Comments about Laura Geller Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation:

This foundation has a light to medium coverage, but is VERY buildable. I got pretty decent coverage, but had to use a lot. It has an extremely dewy finish that is easily managed with a setting powder. Had lovely staying-power. This is very moisturizing so it would be absolutely perfect for dry skin. However, if you have oily skin I would not purchase this.

            • Q:

I use the powder foundation in the shade porcelain and it matches perfectly. I would, however, like a bit more converse with my foundation, so I'm thinking of switching to liquid. Does the porcelain shade work with cool undertones? And does it end up looking orange or yellow when applied?

                A:

The porcelain shade in the Baked Liquid radiance Foundation might be a bit yellow (if the porcelain in Balance-n-Brighten works perfectly for you). The shades in this liquid foundation run a bit dark, so I am afraid the porcelain might be too dark. I would recommend trying our Real Deal Concealer in light first, and then apply the balance-b-brighten. This is a full coverage foundation that you can pop under your eyes or wherever you need more coverage, and it looks gorgeous under the Balance. http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod2240061
Another option is trying out our brand new full coverage baked wet/dry foundation in Porcelain, Double Take. http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod13971075 This is similar to the Balance-n-Brighten, but it is a step up in terms of coverage. You can also use it wet to amp up your coverage level to the max. Enjoy!

This product contains essential oils that are extremely hydrating and are very good for the skin. If you aren't getting enough oils, your skin will overproduce oil to overcompensate. I suggest giving it a try! You can also finish it with our Balance-n-Brighten foundation powder to absorb oil, or filter finish baked radiant setting powder. Enjoy!

This is the perfect foundation for all skin types, however this IS the perfect foundation for someone over 60 with dry skin. It is loaded with essential oils that are extremely hydrating, and it's also a water based foundation that contains antioxidants that have anti-aging benefits. This foundation will cover everything you're looking for and more. Enjoy!

Hi! Yes, you should see a pump at the top of your container. You'll see that foundation bottle is clear, and the pump is flesh toned. Pull the cap off and you should see the pump right underneath the cap.

This product really makes my pores look large. The assistant at ULTA said I did not need to use a primer or anything else with this product. Is there something you would recommend to use with the product to minimize the appearance of my pores?

                A:

I too have large pores, so I feel the struggle! This foundation will work great without a primer, however I would alway recommend using one because you're taking that extra measure to ensure makeup stays on all day and doesn't seep through the skin and disappear. Our Mattifying primer does a great job at filling in pores, so I would recommend using that first. http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod11911117
If you really don't want to use a primer, try setting the foundation with a weightless foundation powder (I use our Balance-n-Brighten which will fill in pores and add a little more coverage) or you can use the Matte Maker which will fill in pores and won't add any more coverage. Hope this helps!

No, this product does not contain SPF. You can use a moisturizer under the the foundation that contains SPF. Your skin will be protected from this. If you really want SPF in your foundation, try using Laura Geller's BB cream http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod5120047. This is a light weight foundation that does contain SPF 21. Enjoy!

Hi! The undertone for Honey is neutral. Sand's undertone is also neutral. You can't go wrong when choosing a shade that is neutral, so it looks like you should be ok with either choice, it just depends on how dark you plan on getting.
Here is the list in order of deepness level:
                Golden Medium- Warm
                Sand- Neutral
                Tan- Warm
                Honey- Neutral
                Deep- Warm

This product contains beautiful baked pigments that are mixed together with a water rich formula that contains vitamins, nutrients, and essential oils that hydrate, nourish and condition the skin, it is actually perfect for dry skin. And our baked makeup starts it's life as a cream and is then baked for 24 hours and turns into a powder, it is not a drying powder at all. It is actually very creamy and does not look dry or flaky on the skin. I love loving one pump of Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation and then setting it with a light dusting of Balance-n-Brighten. Enjoy!
