This is the only product that mattifies my oily t-zone. I use it in combination with Bare Minerals makeup and my make up lasts ALL DAY. With out this product, my skin is an oilslick by noon.

I am a budget buyer but on certain things I do splurge such as the Exuviance line of skin care. Matte Perfection is just that, it gives my skin a layer of moisturizing that when I combine with my make-up regimen leaves hours before I need any beauty blotters (usually I would need them sooner). In the winter, I feared it might be too dry but I use Laura Geller's Spackle Primer and the combo is just right for my skin. I have slightly sensitive skin and the lack of perfume is great. I use the correct amount when applying so a little goes a long way. Despite that, I still wish there was more product for the price tag.

I had gone into ULTA looking for a different type of oil control product - I don't really like to spend this much on some of these items. I ended up getting this and a foundation and I have to say I couldn't be happier with it. I always had a lot of shine on my forehead no matter what and this really does the trick. Sometimes late in the day I'll still get a little shiny, but nothing like what I used to, even in the humid summer weather.

This worked well but after an hour, shine was back. I need something that lasts longer. Tried Bare Minerals OIL CONTROL PRIMER and that works way better!

I have been using the Exuviance line of products for oily/acne-prone skin for a few months now and really feel it is the best thing I have found to get my very oily skin under control. I have tried everything! I have very oily skin and always had to use blotting papers several times a day. By 10 a.m. it would look like I never put makeup on, it would just melt right off. I had never heard of this product line but an Ulta salesperson pointed me to Exuviance. I wash my face w/ Neutrogena shine-free scrub and then I use the Exuviance oil-free moisturizer, followed by the Matte Perfection and then I spritz w/ Urban Decay's DeSlick oil control spray before I put on my makeup. I now only need to use the oil blotting paper one time in the afternoon!!! A major improvement!!!

I'm usually a price conscious shopper, but this is really worth the splurge. It's the first matte primer I've used that mattifies my t-zone instantly and lasts past lunch time. I do get a bit shiny/oily around 3:00 but I reapply just a dab and it's gone for the rest of the day. No breakouts, no sensitive skin issues (I have rosacea), just happy skin. Great stuff!

I am in my 60's and have on oily T-Zone. This product works great. It controls the oil for many hours but allow my skin to still perspire. I use it with Exuviance Purifying Clay Masque. The ULTA sales person recommended it and said that one of our male newscasters uses it on air.
