Be warned that the first 3-6 months of usage (depending upon the sensitivity of your skin) will produce flaking and redness of skin. This is a positive because the product is increasing the regeneration and restoration of your skin cells. The negative is obvious. If you could hide away from the world during this time, more power to you.
Every morning before leaving the house, whether it is sunny or not, apply SPF 30 lotion to clean face. This is mandatory.
If you are sick of dealing with acne and watching your face age and are willing to suffer for (technically) a short time in order to enjoy the beautiful results then this product is for you. You will gain back your confidence. You will never have to shy away from a camera shot again. You will use this for the rest of your life. Be patient and you will be rewarded.

Usage was not stressed by company rep who sold it, so I used it twice daily for 3 days with some sun exposure. My mistake not reading the teeny tiny packaging print. The product name is also not very descriptive. I went in looking for something with more moisture than the My current brand of Day and night creams, and was referred to this company rep in the store, who was obviously only interested in selling her own product, even tho I was looking for a day cream and a night cream. I will be returning this product and not switching to this brand, ever.

When I 1st purchased this lotion a friend told me that I would break out from the 1% retinol but I am glad to say that did not happen. The lotion works well on fine line - deeper wrinkles have less noticable results but still see some improvement.

This is a very effective product, but because it is the strongest retinol you can get without a prescription, it does take a little time for your skin to get used to it. Once you get past the initial irritation, my skin has never reacted again and I get great results.
