Ask a Question
Tria Hair Removal Laser Precision uses professional-strength laser hair removal technology that is preferred by 9 out of 10 dermatologists. It targets the pigment in your hair and permanently disables the hair follicle's ability to regrow hair. Clinical studies have shown up to 70% hair reduction within 3 months. What you get is laser-smooth skin and permanent results in small sensitive areas.

This break-through at-home solution eliminates the disruptions and irritations of shaving and waxing in those small, sensitive areas such as the underarms, bikini area, and the face. Weighing less than a pound, the feather-light, slim body allows for better control around the body's curves and hard-to-reach areas. With the Tria Hair Removal Laser Precision, you can experience how easy it is to achieve laser smooth skin in the comfort and privacy of your own home at a fraction of the cost of professional treatments.

Cleanse, shave and dry the area you wish to treat. Prepare for laser treatment by applying SmoothStart Calming gel to skin. Choose your treatment level, and begin by placing and holding the laser tip on your skin. After each pulse, lift and place the tip in a new treatment area.

      A:

The Tria Laser Hair Removal 4X can be used by men and women with light to medium skin tones. Darker skin tones can absorb too much laser light which can injure the skin.

No, Shave the treatment area thoroughly using a new razor. This allows the laser treatment to be most effective because the laser works on the hair inside the follicle, under the surface of the skin. •

We recommend that you prepare your skin before each Tria Hair Removal Laser Precision treatment for best results.
      Follow these steps:
      • Cleanse the treatment area thoroughly, removing all cosmetics, lotions, and creams from the area you wish to treat. (This will allow the laser treatment to easily penetrate the skin.)
      • Shave the treatment area thoroughly using a new razor. This allows the laser treatment to be most effective because the laser works on the hair inside the follicle, under the surface of the skin.
      • Wipe your skin with a cool, damp cloth to remove any shaving cream or soap, and then dry the area well. Please note: Waxing and plucking are not advisable any time between treatments because both remove hair from the follicle. The hair inside the follicle needs to be present for the Tria Hair Removal Laser Precision treatments to be effective.

  • Q:

How often do you use this product daily or weekly
Asked on 9/11/2015 by beauty buff from canton MI

    1 answer

    • Brand Expert

      A:

You should treat every other week. Hair grows in cycles so not every hair can be treated at the same time. To be effective, the laser needs to reach each hair follicle during its growth cycle, and should be used every two weeks.

  • Q:

Will this product work if my facial hair is naturally black but I bleach it?
    Asked on 9/6/2015 by Sara

    1 answer

    • Brand Expert

      A:

Yes, It works on naturally dark hair colors and not on white, blond, gray, or red hair. "Naturally" means that if you have dark hair but dye it a lighter color, the TRIA Laser 4X or Precision will work for you. If you have white or gray hair dyed a darker color, the TRIA Laser 4X will not work.

  • Q:

Can this be used over tattoos safely and without adverse effects to the skin area or tattoo?
Asked on 9/2/2015 by Jae from Illinois

    1 answer

    • Brand Expert

      A:

No, unfortunately you cannot use the laser on tattoos. Using the Tria Laser Precision on a tattoo can result in skin injury, such as a burn or blister, since a tattoo generally darkens the skin. TRIA can't be used on tattoos after the fact but is a great way to prep the skin for one so there's no hair growing through it after the tattoo is done!

What laser is better for face and armpits?

    • Brand Expert

      A:

Although both devices 4X and Precision are designed to treat those areas, I would suggest the Precision. The Precision Laser is smaller and ergonomically designed to treat smaller areas such as upper lip, chin, underarms and bikini line.
