Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector

Item #: 2276859

Ask a Question
Go beyond extending makeup wear to address the root cause of why your makeup moves. This formula specifically targets oil-prone areas and acts as liquid blotting paper to leave your skin fresh and matte all day. Use alone, before, or after foundation to control excess oil, while minimizing the appearance of pores. Feel free to use throughout the day to touch up areas of concern. This product eliminates excess oil for long-lasting matte skin. The formula is sweat- and humidity-resistant and free of silicone, oil, alcohol, and fragrance.

(1.35 oz.)

Primer can be worn alone or under foundation. To apply, warm a pea-sized amount in hands and pat onto specific areas of concern like the T-zone. Allow product to dry before following with makeup application. For touch-ups throughout the day, warm primer in hands and pat over makeup to target oily areas.

Stylist Tip: use as an eye shadow base for oily eyelids.
Water, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylene Glycol, Enantia Chlorantha Bark Extract, Oleanolic Acid.

Comments about BECCA Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector:

My skin is oily most of the year and combination/oily during cooler months, so I usually need a primer to control oil year-round. I purchased this just as the weather where I live began to cool off, so my skin was dry on certain areas of my face and oily on others. Even with less oily skin, this primer did not control the oil whatsoever. It was as if I had no primer on at all! I was really disappointed because I read a lot of great reviews about this product and I paid so much for it, so I expected much more than what I experienced. Neutrogena's Oil Control Primer works better for me and it's 3 times cheaper.

It never rubbed in my skin. It was flaky. It rubbed right off and balled up. I was very surprised because I love many Becca products.

I just add some to my fingers and rub on the t zone. I don't see any shine all day!! It says you can re apply over the make up if needed but I haven't had to do that yet and I've been using it for a week now.

I used this product because it was suggested by store consultant. I was looking for a different primer product that my local store didn't carry. I was really hoping for thus to be a great product, but no such luck. It dried out parts of my forehead and left a white finish. I was even told that it looked like I had dry Toothpaste on my nose. I'm returning this product tomorrow. Sad face.

Comments about BECCA Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector:

I've tried just about everything intended for excessively oily skin and haven't found anything extraordinary, so I was beyond eager to test this product. Being that it is fairly expensive and specifically designed for oily skin, I thought I would have excellent results. I was wrong.
The texture of this product is very unusual and so, it is difficult to apply evenly. It's quite challenging to blend out your foundation once this primer is on. This primer may have kept my skin looking ever-so-slightly matter than other brands, however, ultimately, my makeup looked like a mess in just a few hours. The primer caused my makeup to break up in random patches on my face. It didn't live up to its "matte, poreless" claim either because my skin looked oily and my pores were visible.
So very disappointed. I thought this would finally be the one!

Comments about BECCA Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector:

So, the only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because I don't use it as a primer. If I do that, then it feels like it takes whatever moisturizer I have on, off. I do however agree with the "liquid blotting paper" part. Throughout the day I can put a little of this on and it takes away the shine on my face without using a napkin or something that ends up taking my makeup off.

Comments about BECCA Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector:

I bought this primer because I watched so many reviews on YouTube and heard so many great things about this. It has to be the best primer that I have tried but it could be better. When I first tried it I loved it and it kept me matte but it is definitely not poreless and it settles/ creases in the lines around my mouth and it looks really bad. I will continue to buy this but I will probably incorporate another primer to get the job done.

I've tried so many different primers. ..nothing compares to Becca. .it's very matte..as soon as you put on your skin..it sets in...so I do it in sections. .I like trying different brands of foundations all the time..and this primer so far works great with all foundations I've tried. .it's a little pricey but trust me it's worth it...and you only use very little. .my tube literally lasted me for 1 year...thats how little you use...it's so amazing. .i recommend this primer to everyone! !

I have normal to dry skin, but I am looking for a primer to use under my BECCA ultimate coverage complexion crème. Will this primer dry my skin more or hydrate it?

                A:

This primer is intended for oily skin; however, it is a very targeted formula, so if you have normal to dry skin and get oily in the T-zone, you could pat the Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector onto the areas where you are oily. If you do not have oily skin, we recommend using BECCA's Backlight Priming Filter, which is perfect for all skin tones and skin types:

This product is free of silicone, oil, alcohol, and fragrance, so it should not cause breakouts or irritation. It is not indicated to reduce the appearance of acne pitted scars; however, it helps to minimize the appearance of enlarged pores and to mattify the skin up to 12 hours.
