Comments about Tarte The Slenderizer Bamboo Contouring Brush:

This brush was too harsh for a contour and it was difficult to blend out. I have better brushes from morphe that cost half the price. This brush also left harsh lines. I returned it.

Comments about Tarte The Slenderizer Bamboo Contouring Brush:

So first of all, a majority of my facial products are a cream (A few rare powder blushes/highlighters). And this brush is a amazing blending tool for a more natural classic look instead of the bold blocky contour trends that I've been noticing. It's great for a flawless smooth transition while the smaller end allows for nice tight work around the nose and jawline.
It's soft, but not to soft that it takes forever to blend out. Easy to clean, and holds up well.
I would not use this to apply the product as it is rather dense and you run the risk of applying to much. But this is a blending brush, not application in my honest opinion.
Also, I would store this flat, instead of in a jar. It does make for a less tidy work station (I'm a bit OCD about my makeup desk being in order) but I'd rather not risk bending/altering the path of the bristles.
Lovely brush, Worth every penny and will always be in my makeup kit!

The nars brush is top rated however I like this brush better the handle makes it a lot easier to use.. it does use more product &goes on a lot heavier but I overall like this brush the best of any contour brushe I've used.. Def a night brush.. I wouldn't use this during the day..again, it's heavier n harder to blend.. I'd use the nars..but 4a night out I'd use this brush

So I can use this brush to dip in a cream contour pallet and blend on my face? Or would I have to use a different brush to dip it in the pallet?

                  A:

This brush could work great for that, since it's for cream contouring formulas. We recommend dipping the domed side into the palette and the buffing it directly onto the face. You can then blend over any harsh lines using the angled side of the brush.
