Comments about Hot Tools Tourmaline IONIC Professional Dryer:

I love this dryer, it has low high and medium heat options which is great, it has low and high speed and a cool button which is also perfect, really smooth and easy to hold, dries my hair super fast with a blow out brush, it leaves my hair silky and smooth, with bounce and shine. it also comes with the diffuser, concentrator, both of which I've had and love, and a brush dryer thing that I haven't used. only complaint is that it started making an odd rattle noise after one use (very faint) it might even be normal I'm not sure.

Comments about Hot Tools Tourmaline IONIC Professional Dryer:

I like that the product comes with attachments, however, the concentrator nozzle falls off very easily. I had the dryer about 1.5 years (max. 2 years) and it burnt out. I was hoping for longer life. Overall, not bad for the price.

Comments about Hot Tools Tourmaline IONIC Professional Dryer:

I should start by saying I have pretty curly hair that I blowout with a round brush. So, I do use the my dryer often.

That being said, I was never really impressed with this. From the beginning I wondered if it was really worth the money. I knew I didnt't get a top-of-the-line, but I wasn't sure it was much better than a $20-$30 drug store ones! I kept it around because it didn't frizz my hair too much, it didn't fry it, and drying time was okay. All-around, it was just okay.

Then, it quit. Mid-dry. It did start to make a noise a couple days before, but mid-dry on a work day my super curly hair was mid-blowout. Yup, I had to wear it half curly and half straight. Not cool. Hair up day; trying to fix with a straight iron while steam was everywhere. TERRIBLE!

I took the whole thing into Ulta and they said I was out of luck, they would've credited me 60 day, but not 6 months. Okay, whatever. The model is sitting on the shelf, the one I brought in wasn't very old, but okay. Boo. But I don't want to spend that much for a dryer every 6-months!! My last dryer was much more and lasted YEARS.

This time around, I did spend more again & I went with a BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Portofino. I have only used it for one day and I am IN LOVE! The reviews are pretty great on it. I have only had it for a day, but I'm happy! Quick dry, great body, great attachments, and I got tons of compliments on my hair at the event I went to the first day I used it.

My advise: spend a bit more because because if my new one even lasts a whole year it was less money in the end than the piece of junk I got!

Biggest bang for your buck. 3 attachments, lightweight, quiet, quick to dry my thick hair and removes the frizz. Love that the body of the dryer is rubber like so it doesn't slide of the counter. Didn't believe expensive blow dryer were really that much better. I'm a believer now.

Comments about Hot Tools Tourmaline IONIC Professional Dryer:

I have gray hair that tends to fuzz, this works great, and it's lightweight. The nozzle seems long. The medium heat is more to the cool setting and the cool shot button is hard not to press when holding the dryer. It's a good dryer, but if the store had one that was shorter, I would exchange it.

This blow dryer works great! Made my hair soft smooth and full. I have curly fine frizzy hair which is a pain to blow dry straight. Light weight and not too much air but just enough. I bought the Rusk W8less but wasn't in love..., too much power so I returned it for this one and iam very impressed!!!!!! My hair which is long and layered dried very fast. I also used Redken Satin blow dry cream which I love. I would but this dryer again if needed. One of the best!!!! Very happy.

I have a rotor cuff problem and currently have the Tourmaline blow dryer - lite....with the attachment that has "2.5" spikes" to blow dry my hair from the roots forward....is this blow dryer your "lite" rather than the regular heavy ones that makes it hard to hold up for any length of time...and does it come with the 2.5 spike attachment??

This professional dryer weighs 15 oz., which is less than one pound and qualifies the dryer as lightweight. It does come with the "comb" or "pik" (as the 2.5" spikes are called) that you can use as an attachment for additional styling options. We hope this info helps! :-)
