Comments about Hot Tools Tourmaline IONIC Professional Dryer:

Bought this hoping it would help cut down drying time with my thick coarse hair and it does! I spent a little more money than I'm used to on a dryer but it pays off in the end. It's light weight, does not make a lot of noise and the best part I don't look like a cocker spaniel when I'm done drying my hair. I would recommend this to people with thicker hair hands down.

Comments about Hot Tools Tourmaline IONIC Professional Dryer:

Could do with a little more power, but it's good enuf.
The buttons where I hold the handle are easily switch to cold ,
Which is a downside for me.
Never used the tools. But use the blow dry nozzle.
Over all it's good enuf to recommend .

Comments about Hot Tools Tourmaline IONIC Professional Dryer:

I have naturally wavy hair of medium thickness. My hair seems to respond to weather conditions by "growing outward" with frizz! I've used a variety of anti frizz products with my old dryer but none seemed to really work/last. Since I've started using this dryer(as well as those same anti frizz products I was using before and a round brush) I've had NO frizz. For me, this is quite an accomplishment.

I bought this product as a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law. She needed a hair dryer that would dry her hair quickly and leave her long beautiful hair sleek and shiny. The Hot Tools Tourmaline IONIC Professional Dryer does exactly that. She is so pleased with this product and has commented numerous times how pleased she is with her new gift. I want one for myself as well.

                        A:

This dryer does not have any ceramic material in it.

What having ceramic does in a dryer is generate far infrared heat that can be gentler on one's hair. However, the most important feature is that the dryer be ionic and generate negative ions that aid in the drying of the hair. A short time to dry one's hair means that there is less time that one's hair is having hot air blowing on it and essentially drying it out.

All Hot Tools Professional hair dryers contain an Ionic generator that will create this effect and keep the hair retaining its own natural moisture. The introduction of ion was a huge technological improvement in hair drying!

Pik - Combs hair as you dry
