Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI(tm) Tourmaline Ceramic & Tourmaline Flat Iron:
I wanted a Hot tools because I know they have good products, but this one was not good at all.. The quality is not the best and it leaves marks on your hair. I used it twice and then I decided to exchange it for an ulta chi which I like it so far!
Pros
Cons
- Doesn't get hot enough
- Has Bad Grip
- Makes My Hair Frizzy
- Not Even Kind Of Straight
- Too heavy

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI(tm) Tourmaline Ceramic & Tourmaline Flat Iron:
If you have hair with any kind of curl or wave don't use this one. It doesn't work at all and is a waste of money. I got the non ceramic one that goes to 450 (hot tool) and it is amazing. It straightens my hair better than my chi even. I would have never thought my hair could be silky straight for 2 rainy days straight without touching it up!
Pros
- Heats Up Fast
Cons
- Doesn't straighten
- Not Effective
- Poor Quality
- Time Consuming

I hated this flat iron. I bought it and was super excited to try it cause i had heard good things about it. But it doesn't even straighten!!! It took me forever to get my hair even somewhat straight and after I would straighten my hair it wouldn't stay straight.

- Multiple Settings
- Smooths Frizz
- Works Great
Cons
- No auto-off
Best Uses

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI(tm) Tourmaline Ceramic & Tourmaline Flat Iron:
I have wavy hair and a lot of it, so the high heat setting and 2-inch plates are a must on the days I want to straighten my hair. This flat iron heats up fast and has the high heat I need (but also low heat for doing my daughters' hair). I love the extra long cord, too. If it had an auto shut-off feature, it would be absolutely perfect!

Cons
- Damages Hair

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI(tm) Tourmaline Ceramic & Tourmaline Flat Iron:
You will not get what you pay for with this. I returned it within a week because it's very time consuming. If you have thick hair like I do then you will have to take the straightener and go over the same pieces of hair at least 5 times before it even straightens well. Not a fan of this product.
Pros
- Heats Up Fast
- Works Great
Cons
- Limited Settings
Best Uses
- Straight Hair

I have spent big bucks on flat irons in the past and i was willing to again. But this fit my budget and is working just as good as the more expensive ones.

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI(tm) Tourmaline Ceramic & Tourmaline Flat Iron:
This iron is not for coarse hair. For medium to fine hair it would work perfect. My hair is coarse and it just does not campare to a Chi. I flat iron my hair in between relaxers. The curls that I like, I could not get with this iron. I took it back and got my trusted Chi and my life is perfect again!

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI(tm) Tourmaline Ceramic & Tourmaline Flat Iron:
I don't know why this product has so many bad reviews- I just got it, and I love it! I have the 2" one, and I had been using an Amika 1" for the past few years until it broke, but this is a fantastic replacement! I have extremely thick curly hair that's down to my waist, and not only did it cut my time in half, it left my hair PIN straight, soft and shiny. People who say it damages hair- obviously it does, any flat iron will, you just need to combat it with a heat resistance cream. It does snag hair a little bit, but not nearly as much as my amika did, so I'm not even putting that as a con! If you have long thick curly hair, and only straigten every so often, PICK THIS ONE! :)

This is the only flat iron I will ever use. I have long curly hair and this flat iron always works great on my hair. I've been a hot tools user for 10 years and never looking back.
