I have had this flat iron for 3+ years. It still works great. It heats up quickly and has a lot of heat settings. It does not take me long at all to straighten my hair.

Comments about Hot Tools NanoCeramic Flat Iron:

It hearts up quickly which is great. However I've had cheaper straighteners that have higher heat settings. I need higher heat settings for my thick curly hair. I wear my hair straight everyday so the size of these plates also make straightening time consuming. It does leave hair shiny but it also snags strands in the moving plates.

Comments about Hot Tools NanoCeramic Flat Iron:

I've had two of these straighteners. Loved it in the beginning. I couldn't remember how long I had my first one, but it just quit turning on. So I bought another one, thinking maybe I had it longer than I realized. I hadn't had my second one 6 months and it quit turning on again. Will definitely not be buying anything else of this brand.

Love this straightener! My daughter does too and she kept using mine instead of her own. I ended buying her one as well so we are not fighting over it in the morning.

I just bought this straightner and I love it. I recent had purchased the Rusk heat freak and returned it because I was not satisfied. For $80 it was not worth the money. While I was there I picked this one up and what a difference! Heats up so quick and glides right through my hair. It took me only 10min and I have long wavy hair. Would definetely recommend :)

Comments about Hot Tools NanoCeramic Flat Iron:

I got this flat iron from Ulta in the pretty in pink limited edition skin for $25. At that price it was a steal. I purchased it for my hair kit and it works just as good as my $120 flat iron. I've use it on myself (I have extremely thick, waist length, kinky curly hair) and it got my hair straight in 2 passes. I would prefer a digital setting display but that is merely preference.

Comments about Hot Tools NanoCeramic Flat Iron:

I received this flat iron over 5 years ago as a birthday gift, and although I don't straighten my hair everyday, it has just now started to not work as good as it used to. I think for the price that's a really good value. It heats up quick, stays hot, and I like that I can choose the temperature. Sometimes you have to watch out that the temperature dial doesn't get bumped on accident and change the temp but overall a good iron! My hair is straight, shiny and stays straight after use. I will definitely look for a new iron by this same brand.

Great flat iron. I own several CHI's but they do not have temperature settings and I think they really are too hot and damage your hair. I bought this flat iron for my daughter. This Hot Tools flat iron was less expensive than a CHI, it works great and I love that the heat setting can be lowered. I also have a Hot Tools curling iron that I love just as much! I'm going back to get one for myself when my daughter takes hers back to school. I recommend this flat iron.
