Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron:

I used this product approximately 15 times in the 3 months that I had it. The purple coating began to flake off under the clip. Can no longer use it as it leaves purple flakes in my hair.I called ULTA to return it and was told I could not return it because I do not have my receipt. Even though I am a Platinum card member with record of my purchase. I was told that I couldnt even exchange it either. Bad product and even worse customer service.

Was looking for a curling iron to replace my aging Hot Tools. I like the brand and have been happy with it, so I stuck to it. I'm partial to the ceramic ones, because they seem to be better for your hair. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

The cost seemed a little bit much, however it is worth every penny! The long swivel cord is nice. The cermamic - tourmaline definitely helps it to heat up fast and not damage your hair. I had a previous one for over 12 years and just replaced it.

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron:

I loved this iron. It made my hair so soft and shiny! However, I had the iron less than a month and only curled my hair twice before the purple coating started to flake off! I was so frustrated by this because the iron worked so well but how low quality is that?? Even though I got it on sale, Hot Tools is a professional brand and I expected way more in the quality of the iron. Needless to say I returned it.

What is the difference between ceramic tourmaline, Gold or Titanium

                          A:

Titanium heats the fastest to the hottest temperature, so it is a great option for thick, coarse hair. Ceramic Tourmaline helps to infuse hair with moisture and shine, so it is a great option for damaged, distressed, or over-processed hair. Gold heats quickly and evenly and is a great option for all hair types and textures.

What is the difference between this Ceramic tourmaline curling iron and the Nano Ceramic curling iron? Which one gives better results and is better for your hair?

                          A:

If you looked at the irons under a microscope, it’s like the difference between granulated sugar and powdered sugar. The ceramic iron is smooth, but not like the smoothness of the NanoCeramic. Essentially what happens is that the ceramic is ground into a fine powder that is applied and fired onto the barrels multiple times. It will produce similar results with the difference being that the NanoCeramic iron will be even gentler on the hair than the regular ceramic.
