Don't just cover up, clear up! Neutrogena SkinClearing Oil-Free Makeup is the first and only liquid foundation formulated with MicroClear technology to not only treat blemishes, but to also help prevent emerging breakouts. MicroClear technology boosts the power of salicylic acid by breaking through oil and unclogging pores for fast acne relief. Its shine-free, natural coverage lets skin breathe and won't clog pores.

Natural look, breathable feel. MicroClear technology treats and helps prevent breakouts. Controls shine. Won't clog pores.
Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying medication. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer 1 to 3 times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to 2 or 3 times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to every other day. Application Tip: For a flawless look, dab makeup lightly onto face, then blend using gentle strokes in an upward and outward motion. Make sure to blend along your jawline for an overall even appearance.
Active Ingredients: Salicylic Acid 0.5%. Even My Acne Love This!

By taySIC

from Georgia

Comments about Neutrogena SkinClearing Oil-Free Makeup:

Let me start by saying that I'm biracial, so I switch between the warm, fresh, and natural beige depending on the season.

I have tried foundations (powder & I liquid), BB creams, anything that wouldn't worsen my acne and something that could conceal my acne without having to use a ton of it.

This is IT. It covers the redness of my acne (sometime with the help of a color corrector) and even my dark spots to give me an even tone all I've my face. Sometimes I think it covers too well- which leads me to add the blush and bronzer to give my face some dimension.

My biggest concern is always worsening the acne on my face, but I am so happy to say that this does not in the least bit. This foundation is light weight and is beyond satisfactory. I have no plans to switch foundations any time soon.

Daily use kind of foundation. Medium coverage, buildable. Lasts about half the day but you can do touch ups with no issues. :)

Comments about Neutrogena SkinClearing Oil-Free Makeup:

I have tried less expensive products, but always end up going back to Neutrogena... With my oily, acne prone skin, it is the only one that doesn't make me break out more. It doesn't stay matte, and I do have to powder a few times, but I swear by this stuff.

I do have very dry skin so I don't use this everyday. I use the powder everyday over any of my foundations. I use this when i am very moisturized. I love it. I tend to get small pimples on my chin and it helps so much to keep them away. I also use the healthy skin since it is moisturizing. BTW it might take a few tries to find the right shade for you.

This is the foundation that I keep coming back to. I've tried other drugstore brand foundation, but seem to break out or just purely hate it. This is affordable and covers great. Only con is it's hard to blend, so just use the right brush.

Comments about Neutrogena SkinClearing Oil-Free Makeup:

If i use a texture brush to apply it gives me decent coverage, but throughout the day gets a little splotchy and smears. Aside from that it is the only liquid foundation that i will use due to my acne prone skin. I definitely saw and maintain much clearer skin since using, so i would definitely suggest to people with breakouts!

Comments about Neutrogena SkinClearing Oil-Free Makeup:

While this product is not perfect, I'm still giving it five stars because in eight years of testing out foundations on my very acne-prone skin (cystic acne, blackheads, whiteheads... everything), this is the only one that hasn't caused a single breakout. It was the first foundation I tried, and I keep coming back to it after the others leave me disappointed. It doesn't have the most spectacular coverage, as you can still pretty clearly see hyper-pigmentation beneath it, and it oxidizes a little throughout the day, but it does a good job at creating a base with a fairly even skin tone, and when I use Smashbox primer and the Revlon PhotoReady concealer, my skin looks pretty clear. If one day of wearing any other foundation causes an acne flare-up, I highly recommend trying this one!
