Never used before, but I bought because I couldn't justify a lot more $$$, and am not necessarily dedicated to a certain brand. To my surpise, no raccoon eyes! It actually stayed on all day until I took it off with makeup remover. Also didn't clump and look nasty by day's end.

I love that I can apply in the morning, and it stays put until I take it off at night. Even with contact lenses, I wear this mascara exclusively!

I wear this over the regular mascara to set against moisture but it is also just a little thicker so you get more definition.

I've been trying and trying to find a smudgeproof mascara. I even tried the kind that was supposed to be smudgeproof but ended up not being. I actually bought this b/c they were out of the kind I normally buy and I LOVE it! I thought it was kind of gimicky b/c of the eye color enhancement stuff, which is why I didn't even consider it as a contender before, but it works wonderfully! It delivers in the same great way the other Cover Girl mascaras do ie no clumps, great length and volume and it has the plastic brush that I love. I don't know if my eyes look any greener but it's great mascara that stays in place. A little hard to get off even with baby oil, but I'll take hard to remove over hardly stays on and constantly having to rub my bottom lid to get the smudge off.
