Ask a Question

The Body Shop difference: The Lip Scuff contains Community Fair Trade marula oil from the Eudafano Women's Co-operative in Namibia. Marula fruits are hand-selected, the nuts are extracted and dried in the sun. The kernels are cold-pressed to release the oil.

How it works:

  • Marula oil Is an effective moisturizer that also helps condition the skin over time.
  • Marula oil is also provides essential fatty acids that help to repair the skin's moisture barrier, thus helping to restore moisture, smoothness and suppleness.
  • Crushed fig stone granules help to gently remove dead skin cells.
  • Community Fair Trade beeswax from Cameroon acts as a barrier that helps seal s in moisture.
  • Macademia nut oil moisturizes the skin.

By setting up their own factory, the 5,000 Eudafano Women's Co-operative members have gained entrepreneurial skills and, they tell us, a newfound self-esteem.

Gently apply Lip Scuff over the lips and rub them together before removing the residue with a tissue. Use one to two times per week, or as required.

Comments about The Body Shop Lip Scuff:

I used these years ago and loved it. I thought I would try it again since ulta doesn't carry the ELF lip exfoliant I normally use and I'm highly disappointed. I'll stick to my $3 ELF exfoliate which is much more grainy and removes the dry skin better then this one.

Comments about The Body Shop Lip Scuff:

Product was not what I had thought. I was hoping for more of a scrub to help lips and the residue was very waxy, almost made my lips worse. Will no longer be using this. I think I'll stick with the Laura Gellar lip strip. A far better product!!!

Comments about The Body Shop Lip Scuff:

Doesn't actually seem to do anything. It doesn't apply well. I think it might be too dry. I've had other lip scuff products that worked better.

Comments about The Body Shop Lip Scuff:

You only have to use it about once a week. I apply, rub it around, then remove excess and add a moisturizing balm. Lips feel loved!
