Comments about bareMinerals bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20:

This product is very lightweight and I didn't have to use much. The color was a good match for my skin tone, but I am not used to wearing liquid foundation. I usually use a tinted moisturizer, so I thought this would provide a little extra coverage. The problem that I'd encountered was that this product did not blend in well. It seemed to sit on top of my skin as opposed to blending in.I looked like I had on a lot of makeup, when I truly used a pea-sized amount. i expected a lot based on the product name, but I did not like the results,

Comments about bareMinerals bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20:

I like the concept. I really don't like foundation makeup. I'm a 73-year-young woman who is still waiting to grow up to wear makeup. All I want is to even out my skin tone. I have freckles and the skin tone of a redhead. I was originally given the wrong shade, which made me feel greenish, but Ulta is allowing me to exchange it for a different shade, which should be better.

I finally went out and bought this foundation to see if I would like it. I'm SO happy I did because this is the best foundation I have ever used. I bought the foundation along with one of the bareminerals brushes for application. I highly recommend shelling out the extra money for one of the brushes, it makes application so much easier and gives you a flawless, seamless look.

I have been using BareMinerals for a while and wanted to try their new BareSkin when it came out. I finally did order it and wish I had gotten it sooner. It gives flawless coverage and is so easy to apply. This is my new foundation and I pair it with the tinted mineral veil for an unbelievable natural light-weight look. Bravo!!

I love this foundation!! It offers the perfect amount of coverage without the cakey feeling and look that you can get from heavier, thicker foundations. It looks so natural while also covering flaws. I have normal to dry skin and this foundation gives me a nice dewey look. You look refreshed and healthy! I would not recommend this to someone with oily skin however, as I think it would probably make them look shiny rather than dewey.

My first bottle of this foundation was wonderful. Second bottle - I almost didn't believe it was the same product. No matter how well I shook it, it stayed watery and did not blend well in the bottle. Did not cover the same way even using the Bare Minerals brush Returned for refund. I'll stick with the original BM or the Ready foundation and Complexion Perfection. I won't try the Serum Foundation again.

I have always been a fan of their makeup, but when they came out with a liquid I was skeptical at first. I've been using this liquid since it was introduced and LOVE it. I don't care to sweat but when I do, it doesn't clump or drip off as other foundations I've used before.

I love ALL my Bareminerals, and was such a loyal customer, decided to try the liquid. Boy was I disappointed. Even using the special brush, it is difficult to apply (see brush strokes) and settles into fine lines and dry skin shows up worse than without makeup. I keep trying to use it (on the weekend, etc) just to see if I can learn to use it better, but I won't buy it again.

The product's lifespan varies due to usage rate and amount applied per application, but it is about a 3 month supply with typical daily usage. Each bottle contains approximately 400 drops of foundation, and 2-6 drops are typically used per application depending on if you seek sheer, medium, or full coverage.

bareSkin features a natural finish with buildable coverage from sheer to full, plus it is clinically proven to improve the appearance of dark spots, skin brightness and skin texture over time! So you'll have immediate gratification, plus more flawless skin as you continue to wear it. :-)

bareSkin features a long wearing formula. To help further extend makeup's wear in hot weather, apply a primer such as bareMinerals Prime Time prior to foundation application:

For best results, apply your sunscreen first and allow to fully absorb prior to application of bareSkin. Yes, you will still enjoy bareSkin's skincare benefits, including more even, brighter skin tone and improved skin texture, when worn over your sunscreen! :-)

I have large pores across my nose and some around my nose as well. I am having a difficult time finding a product that does not "settle" in my pores. Do you have information for me regarding that issue with this product, or any of the Bare Essential products? Help!

I need to my make-up to last because I cheer at my high school and I also compete, so I was wondering if the foundation was long lasting? I'm also 16 and I have acne prone skin, and my face make-up seems to almost always fade. Would this foundation be the best choice for me, or should I perhaps go back to their powder foundation?

Although you can use a makeup sponge to apply bareSkin, for best results we recommend using the bareMinerals Perfecting Face Brush (Item #: 2272522). bareSkin features a very fluid texture that may be difficult to apply & blend by with fingers or with a makeup sponge.

Both products are formulated for all skin types! bareSkin Foundation has a more fluid consistency, while Complexion Rescue's consistency is more cream/gel-like. Both are oil-free. Complexion Rescue provides sheer-to-medium coverage, while bareSkin provides buildable sheer-to-full coverage (to achieve full coverage with bareSkin, apply 6 drops). Both provide skincare benefits: Complexion Rescue provides an incredible boost of hydration, while bareSkin helps fade dark spots and discoloration over time. Both also provide broad spectrum SPF 30 sun protection. We hope this info helps!

Similar to Clinique Even Better Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15, both foundations are oil-free, fragrance-free, dermatologist-tested/developed, and provide skin brightening and sun protection benefits. The most noticeable difference is that bareSkin Foundation is ultra-thin and much more fluid in consistency. We recommend testing both products at your nearest ULTA Beauty store as well as reading the ratings & reviews for both at ULTA.com!

Yes, this foundation is formulated for all skin types including dry skin! It is even clinically proven to help improve skin texture.

For best results on dry skin, we recommend moisturizing prior to foundation to ensure smooth application. Optionally, you can also use a primer like bareMinerals Prime Time (after moisturizer and before foundation) to further smooth skin and seal in your moisturizer for extra hydration. To eliminate any flaky, dry patches, exfoliate your skin 1-3x weekly using a gentle scrub or peel.

Prime prior to foundation application using bareMinerals Prime Time Oil Control Foundation Primer to control excess oil and prevent shine, and finish your foundation with bareMinerals bareSkin Perfecting Veil to extend its wear (can be reapplied throughout the day as needed).
