Comments about L'Oréal Superior Preference Mousse Absolue:

I usually use the Loreal Preference hair dye, or the John Freida mousse. They were out of those so I decided to try this new mousse. I figured it would be okay since I used Loreal already and liked it, and the Mousse from John Freida was so nice. It was not good at all. It was easy to apply, but it didn't really work. I left it on my hair for 40 minutes and after rinsing and drying my hair, you could definitely still see a big difference between my roots and the rest of my hair. It was a waste of money and time.

This has to be the worst hair color product I've ever used. Not to mention how pricey it was. Do not waste your time or money on this.

Comments about L'Oréal Superior Preference Mousse Absolue:

Have used Loreal products to color hair for several years. Thought this seemed like the perfect solution for touching up roots. First time use was ok and thought I might need to get use to the mousse compared to the normal product I was use to. This last time was a total waste, there was no change in color of roots and it was a total waste of time. Will not buy again until they have improved the applicator or whatever the problem may be.

Comments about L'Oréal Superior Preference Mousse Absolue:

I used #900 Pure Light Blonde. My hair was already dyed a lighter blonde. I wanted to darken it a little and cover my grey/ash blonde roots. The produce did darken over the other dye, but it barely worked at all on the roots, even though I left it on for 40 minutes. Does NOT work as claims.

Comments about L'Oréal Superior Preference Mousse Absolue:

I loved the idea. No mess and REUSABLE! Terrific! Unfortunately it has to be reusable because the first time it barely covered grays! It was my first time using a mousse hair color so I was a bit worried when the super light mousse didn't seem to be sticking to my strands like the thick formulated hair color I was used to. As I dried my hair, I noted the grays around my temples still there and the part barely covered. In 2 weeks I was ready for new color. What I find puzzling is that Allure recommended it and I usually find them trustworthy. They missed the mark this time. A waste of money unfortunately.

                  The pros:
                  (1) No mixing, just shake shake shake the bottle. Apply, massage in, shake again, repeat. Note: Make sure the product comes out as a mousse and not as a foam or liquid. If necessary, shake again.
                  (2) Enough product left to use again, unless you have very long hair or very thick hair.
                  (3) Very little odor from the color, and light pleasant scent from the conditioner.
                  The cons:
                  (1) Doesn't really cover grays. Maybe I didn't use enough product or massage it in properly (though I thought I did).
                  (2) Are the gloves a one-size-fits-all? I have small hands but I found them a bit snug.
Maybe L'Oreal needs to add something for better gray coverage. I would recommend this to friends who don't need it to cover their grays.

This product claims to cover the gray, it did not, not even close. I will not purchase L'Oreal hair color again.

Comments about L'Oréal Superior Preference Mousse Absolue:

Really unhappy with this product. Generally I love L'Oreal products but this one didn't make the cut. It did absolutely nothing for my hair. Followed the instructions and shook it plenty as instructed and when I went to go rinse my hair and it was rinsing out with uncolored water I knew it wasn't working. Yes convenient but I prefer good results over convenience. Disappointed...
